ODESSA — Aurelia Garcia, 71, of Midland died Monday, June 30, 2003, at Midland Memorial Hospital.
Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. today at St. Joseph Catholic Church with the Rev. Gilbert Rodriguez officiating. Burial will be at Evergreen cemetery in Pecos. Arrangements by Martinez Funeral Home.
She was born in Por Venir, Mexico. She was Catholic.
SURVIVORS: Daughters, Maria Garcia of Midland and Hermelinda Garcia of Mexico; sons, Elias M. Garcia and Alfonso M. Garcia, both of Pecos, Juan M. Garcia of Clovis, N.M., and Bruno M. Garcia, Isabel M. Garcia, Hilario M. Garcia and Hipolito M. Garcia, all of Midland; sisters, Isidra Munoz of California, Rufina Munoz of Fort Worth and Anita Munoz of Midland; brothers, Jose Munoz and Isabel Munoz, both of Mexico, and Roberto Munoz of Midland; and 33 grandchildren.

SEMINOLE — Zachary Tyler Hamilton, infant son of Kenneth and Cora Hamilton of Seminole, died Monday, June 30, 2003, at Memorial Hospital in Seminole.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Gaines County cemetery South, Babyland Section with James T. Smith officiating. Arrangements by Boyer Funeral Home.
SURVIVORS: Parents; sister, Julie Hamilton of Seminole; grandparents, Lucille McKinzie of Batesville, Ark., John Hamilton of Seminole and Sandra Hodge of West Virginia; great-grandparents, Jeffie McKinzie of Rison, Ark., Johnnie Sanderfer of Batesville, Ark., and Kenneth and Billie Cline of Albuquerque, N.M.

COOS BAY, Ore. — Barbara Ruth Horton, 63, of Coos Bay, Ore., a former director of the Ector County Library, died Tuesday, June 17, 2003, in Coos Bay.
No services have been scheduled.
She was born in Dodge City, Kan.

ODESSA — Martha Maxine Martin, 74, of Odessa died Monday, June 30, 2003, at Regency Hospital.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Sunset Memorial Gardens with Rev. Jimmy Braswell officiating. Arrangements by Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.
She was born in Shawnee, Okla.
SURVIVORS: Nephew, Louis Burrow of Odessa; great-nephew, Jared Burrow of Odessa; and great-nieces, Jessica Burrow and Greon Burrow, both of Odessa.

MIDLAND — Martha Ann Cox, 72, of Midland, died Tuesday, Sept. 16, 2003.
Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Ellis Funeral Home Chapel. Arrangements are by Ellis Funeral Home.
She was born in Paducah, Ky. She was Presbyterian.
SURVIVORS: Husband, Durward A. Cox; children, Bobbi Grimmer of Fredericksburg, Terry Anderson of Grapevine, Howard Neil Kepple of Austin, John Kepple of Midland, Robert Kepple of Midland, Lance Cox of Friendswood, Susann Blackmann of Ruidoso, N.M.; 22 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

FORT STOCKTON — Josefina Gonzales Flores, 83, of San Antonio died Monday, Sept. 22, 2003, in San Antonio.
Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. today at St. Joseph Catholic Church with the Rev. David Herrera officiating. Burial will be at Fort Stockton Catholic cemetery. Arrange-ments are by Fort Stockton Funeral Home.
She was bon in Fort Stockton. She was Catholic.
SURVIVORS: Husband, Ramon S. Flores of San Antonio; three daughters; one son; two sisters; one brother; and five grandchildren.

FORT STOCKTON — Petra Villarreal Gonzalez, 86, of Fort Stockton, died Tuesday, Sept. 23, 2003, in Fort Stockton.
Rosary will be said at 7 p.m. today at St. Agnes Catholic Church. Services will be at 10 a.m. St. Agnes Catholic Church with the Rev. David Herrera officiating.
Burial will be at Fort Stockton Catholic cemetery. Arrange-ments are by Memorial Funeral Home
She was born in El Dormido Coaquila, Mexico.
SURVIVORS: Daughters, Berta Gamboa of Brazoria and Maria Gonzalez of Fort Stockton; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Bob Hembree
MONAHANS — Bob Hembree, 67, of Monahans, a retired oilfield electrician, died Monday, Sept. 22, 2003, at Sienna Care Center in Odessa.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Heritage Funeral Home Chapel with Luis T. Tijerina officiating. Burial will be at Monahans Memorial cemetery.
Arrangements are by Heritage Funeral Home.
He was born in Shamrock and was a 28-year resident of Monahans. He was Baptist and served in the National Guard.
SURVIVORS: Son, Robert Wayne Hembree of Monahans; daughters, Julia Payne of Graham, Sonya Stevens of Odessa and Tonya Hill of Nacogdoches; brothers, Doug Honeycutt of Nacogdoches and James Honeycutt of Mineral Wells; sister, Mary Harold of Alamogordo, N.M.; 12 grandchildren; and 33 great-grandchildren.

ODESSA — Billie Ruth Marsh, 83, of Odessa, a retired teacher, died Saturday, Sept. 20, 2003, at Medical Center Hospital.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Bethlehem Baptist Church with the Rev. R.S. Sutton officiating. Burial will be at the Ector County cemetery. Arrangements are by Martinez Funeral Home.
She was born in Betty, Texas.
SURVIVORS: Husband, Bobby Marsh of Odessa; brothers, Wallace Clark and Billy Ray Clark, both of Compton, Calif.

Ralph Merkle
FORT STOCKTON — Ralph Merkle, 87, of Fort Stockton, a retired civil engineer, died Monday, Sept. 22, 2003, in Fort Stockton.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today at First Baptist Church with the Rev. A.D. Jackson officiating. Burial will be at East Hill cemetery. Arrangements are by Fort Stockton Funeral Home.
He was born in Norman, Okla. He was Baptist and an Army veteran of World War II.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Nancy Eloise Fewell Merkle of Fort Stockton; daughter, Susan Eloise Merkle of Atlanta, Ga.; sisters, Priscilla Thomasson of Felton, Calif., Helen Merkle and Elizabeth Merkle, both of Norman, Okla.; brother, Joe Merkle of Norman, Okla.; two grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

She was born in Odessa.

ODESSA — Ann Riley Shields, 74, of Odessa, a registered nurse, died Saturday, Sept. 20, 2003.
