ODESSA — Lawrence Cain Bledsoe, 72, of Odessa died Wednesday, June 11, 2003, at Medical Center Hospital.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the Greater St. John Baptist Church with the Rev. R.S. Sutton officiating. Burial will be at Rose Hill cemetery. Arrangements by Chapa Funeral Home.
He was born in Stranger, Texas. He was an Army veteran.
SURVIVORS: Son, LaVincent O. Swoopes of Odessa; sister, Myrtle Jones of Odessa; and one grandchild.

Joy Schneemann
FORT STOCKTON — Joy C. Schneemann, 77, of Fort Stockton, a homemaker, died Friday, June 13, 2003, in Fort Stockton.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Kevin Phillips officiating. Burial will be at East Hill cemetery. Arrangements by Fort Stockton Funeral Home.
She was born in Ozona and has lived in Fort Stockton since 1966. She was a member of First United Methodist Church.
SURVIVORS: Husband, Phillip Schneemann of Fort Stockton; daughters, Phyllis Burris of Silver City, N.M., and Lynda Powell of Alpine; son, Stephen Schneemann of Iraan; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

ODESSA — Graciela Valenzuela, 79, of Odessa, a homemaker, died Friday, June 13, 2003, at her residence.
Rosary will be at 7 p.m. Sunday at Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors Chapel. Mass will be celebrated at 2 p.m. Monday at St. Martin’s Catholic Church.
Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
Arrangements by Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors.
She was born in Berrendo, Monte Escobedo, Zacatas. She was a member of St. Martin’s Catholic Church.
SURVIVORS: Son, Dolores Valenzuela Jr. of Odessa; daughters, Rosa Galvan, Cruz Parra, Bertha Coloni and Melli Saucedo, all of Odessa; brother, Juan Marquez of Guadalajara, Mexico; 14 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

MIDLAND — Rita Lorraine Muncy Webb, 44, of Midland, an employee of Russ Chemical Company in Odessa, died Wednesday, June 11, 2003.
Services will be at 1 p.m. today at Ellis Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be at Resthaven Memorial Park. Arrangements by Ellis Funeral Home.
She was born in Houston.
SURVIVORS: Son, Chad Muncy of Midland; daughter, Raina Webb of Midland; mother, Gwen Russell of Odessa; sister, Holly Garza of Mesquite.

ALPINE - Gloyd R. Moss, 89, of Alpine, a 33-year chemical engineer for Texaco, died Saturday, July 5, 2003.
Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Elm Grove cemetery. Arrangements by Geeslin Funeral Home.
He was born in Alpine. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Anna L. Moss of Alpine; daughter, Patsy Moss of Alpine.

Antonia Rodriguez
FORT STOCKTON - Antonia Rodriguez, 80, of Fort Stockton died Saturday, July 5, 2003.

She was born in Las Garzas.

MONAHANS - John T. Rowin, 80, a retired employee of Gulf Oil Corp., died Sunday, July 6, 2003, at Ward Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. today at Southside Baptist Church with the Rev. Craig Rhoton officiating. Burial will beat Monahans Memorial cemetery. Arrangements by Heritage Funeral Home.
He was born in Denton and was an Army veteran.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Maxine Rowin of Monahans; son, John F. Rowin of Brownsville; daughters, Jo Ann Stewart of Arlington and Beverly Hartman of Bakersfield, Texas; brother, Charles Rowin of Breckenridge; sisters, Lois Jarrett of Breckenridge and Mary Rose Childress of Seattle.

HOBBS, N.M. - William R. Smith, 84, of Hobbs, N.M., died Wednesday, July 2, 2003, at his residence.

He was born in Clarksville. He was a veteran of World War II. He was Baptist.
