Grandmother Remembered
For all the things we used to do
Holidays, gatherings, or just us two
Sitting for hours, telling me stories
Of relatives past and deeds of great glory
We worked in the garden, I helped pull weeds
I wiped sweat from your brow, as you planted the seeds.
The seeds are all planted
the Day it is done
These memories I keep
Of a Grandma remembered so precious, so sweet.
by grandson, Mark.
