Services will be held at 1 p.m. today at St. Paul's Catholic Church with the Rev. John Casey officiating. Rosary was said Thursday, March 5, 1998, at Head Family Funeral Home. Burial will be at Seagraves cemetery. Arrangements by Head Family Funeral Home.
He was born in Presidio and moved to Seagraves in 1965. He moved to Monahans in 1991. He was Catholic.

ODESSA -- William Scott Avera, 46, of Odessa, a plumbing warehouse manager, died Wednesday, March 4, 1998, at Llano Medical Hospital in Llano.

He was born in Marietta, Ga., and was Baptist.

ODESSA -- Ben Morris Bowen, 77, of Midland, a retired roughneck and derrick hand, died Tuesday, March 3, 1998, at his residence.

He was born in Como and was an Army veteran.
