Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Services are entrusted to Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
She was born in Charlie, Texas. She was Baptist.

ODESSA — Ray Allen Miller, 75, of Odessa, a retired oilfield worker, died Tuesday, Oct. 21, 2003, at Deerings Nursing Home.

He was born in Maud, Okla., and was a Navy veteran.

LaVerne Chrane
CRANE — LaVerne Chrane, 78, of Lubbock and formerly of Crane, Texas, passed away on Thursday, Oct. 30, 2003, in Lubbock, Texas.
The family will be receiving friends from 3 p.m. until 5 p.m. today at the Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Home in Crane.
Funeral Services will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, Nov 3, 2003, at the Mary Street Church of Christ with Ministers David Bonner and Gene Klutts officiating. Burial will follow in the Crane County cemetery with arrangements by Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Home.
Mrs. Chrane was born on Feb. 15, 1925, in Post, Texas, and grew up in Cherokee, Texas. She married
Douglas Chrane on June 13, 1943. In 1951, she graduated from Howard Payne College with a degree in Elementary Education, and she taught first grade in the Crane School System for 31 years.
After retiring from teaching in 1983, she remained in Crane another 19 years until moving to Lubbock in 2002.
Survivors include her husband of 60 years, Douglas Chrane of Lubbock and formerly of Crane; a daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Michael H. Chamales of Lubbock; sister and brother-in-law, Peggy and James Lewis of Houston; two grandchildren, Michael S. Chamales and wife Melissa of Lubbock and Michelynda Crossnoe and husband Reagan of Amarillo; three great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
Pauline Detter
SAN ANTONIO — Our Beloved Mother, Pauline Detter, of San Antonio, Texas, formerly of Odessa, Texas, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 29, 2003, at the age of 87.
She was born June 30, 1916, in Cayey, Puerto Rico. On March 22, 1941, she married
Fred H. Detter. After World War II, they moved to Odessa, where they resided until 1995. At that time, they moved to San Antonio to be close to their daughters.
After her husband, Fred, died in 1997, she continued to live in San Antonio.
She is survived by her daughter, Hallie Smith of Bedford, Texas; daughter and son-in-law, Yvonne and Tom Truesdell of Canyon Lake, Texas, and daughter and son-in-law, Freddie and Rick Glasebrook of Austin; grandchildren, David Hall of Portland, Ore., Stephen and Gail Smith of Fort Worth, Texas, Mark Smith of Austin, Texas, Adam and Thomas Glasebrook of Austin, and Thomas Truesdell and Todd Truesdell, both of the U.S. Marine Corps; and great-granddaughter, Morgan Smith of Fort Worth.
Services will be Nov. 3, 2003. Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. and services will be at noon at the Oak Hills Church of Christ, 19595 Interstate 10 West, San Antonio, Texas, with Dennis McDonald officiating. Interment wil follow at Fort Sam Houston National cemetery.

Lois Killion
ODESSA — Lois Killion, 93, passed away Friday, Oct. 31, 2003, in Des Moines, Iowa.
Lois was born Oct. 4, 1910, in Charlie, Texas, to Robert and Della Knox.
Lois married
Claud Killion Oct. 9, 1931, in Jester, Okla. Lois and Claud moved to Odessa in 1952 from Oklahoma and Lois was a homemaker and Claud worked as a carpenter. Lois moved to Des Moines, Iowa, in 1997 due to failing health.
Lois was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church of Odessa and enjoyed her Sunday School Class. She enjoyed working with ceramics and cherished time with her family.
Lois was preceded in death by husband, Claud; son and daughter-in-law, Bob and Dorothy Killion; and seven brothers and sisters.
Lois is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Ken and Shirley Killion of Des Moines, Iowa; granddaughter, Linda Killion of Stonewall, Okla.; grandson, Kirk Killion and wife DeAnn of Ping Liang, China; great-granddaughter, Danielle Killion of Ping Liang, China; and brother; Bill Knox of Guymon, OK.
The family will meet with friends from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. today at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home to honor her life here on earth and celebrate her journey to eternity with her Lord.
Graveside services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Monday, Nov. 3, 2003, at Sunset Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Kyle Rogers officiating.
Honorary pallbearers are Mitchel Arnold, Olen Arnold, Kenneth Tollin, Edwin Easley, Ray Woods and Boyd Phillips.

Erin Marie Lee
ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — Erin Marie Lee, 24, died Oct. 23, 2003, in Littleton, Colo., after an extended illness.
Graveside services were at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 25, at Parker cemetery in Parker, Colo. A celebration memorial service was held on her birthday, Monday, Oct. 27, 2003, at the Parker United Methodist Church in Parker, Colo., with the Rev. Doug McKinney officiating, directed by Parker Funeral Home.
Erin was born Oct. 27, 1978, in Odessa, Texas, to Lauren Lee of Englewood, Colo. and Doug Lee of McKinney, Texas.
Erin is survived by her daughter, Audrie Marie Lee of Englewood, Colo.; her mother and father; stepmother, Betsy Lee of McKinney, Texas; one sister, Kayla Lee of Boulder, Colo.; aunts, Sue Lin Harris of Burleson, Texas, and Lara Swinney of Azle, Texas; uncle, Mitch Lee of Burleson, Texas; maternal grandparents, M.C. and J.C. Hopkins of Denver, Colo.; and numerous other aunts, uncles and cousins in Texas and Colorado.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Sue and Troy Lee of Odessa, Texas.

Erin was a devoted mother, daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece, cousin and friend who loved life. She will be greatly missed.

John Benjamin Macias II,28 years of age, was born on Sept. 8, 1975, in Cottonwood, Ariz., to John B. and Frances Macias.
