He was born in Snyder. He was Baptist.

ANDREWS — Catherine “Cassie” O’Connor, 61, of Andrews, a homemaker, died Monday, Nov. 24, 2003, at her residence.

COMMERCE — James R. Tarter, 79, of Temple, died Saturday, Nov. 22, 2003, in Temple.

He was born in Windom. He was a U.S. Marine veteran of World War II serving in the South Pacific. He was an administrator at Odessa College.
