POST — Irene Guajardo, 83, of Post, a homemaker, died Sunday, Nov. 30, 2003, at University Medical Center in Lubbock.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Post Church of Christ with Travis Sweet officiating. Burial will be at Terrace cemetery. Arrangements are by Hudman Funeral Home of Post.
She was born in Nixon, Texas. She was a member of the Church of Christ.
SURVIVORS: Son, Danny Guajardo of Post; daughters, Sefrina Perez of Lubbock, Linda Tijerina of Odessa, Louise Ortiz of Kermit, Kay Broz of San Antonio and Melba Cimental of Post; brothers, Herbert Pantoja of Post and Daniel Pantoja of Amarillo; sisters, Louisa Valdez of Post, Valentina Carrizales of Lubbock, Cinaida Hernandez of Snyder, Adelita Interial of Gailsburg, Ill. and Tomasa Gonzales of Amarillo; 14 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
George McCoy
SANTO — George M. McCoy, 81, of Paradise, Texas, an oil industry worker and church builder, died Sunday, Nov. 30, 2003, in Hamlin, Texas at Hamlin Memorial Hospital.
Services will be at 3 p.m. today at First Baptist Church of Santo. Burial will be at New Gordon cemetery in Gordon, Texas. Arrangements are by Edwards Funeral Home of Strawn, Texas.
He was born in Hillsboro. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and was rewarded five Bronze Stars. He was Baptist.
SURVIVORS: Daughters, Cynthia Denise Haynes of Odessa and Deborah Lynn Perry of Abilene; sisters, Lela Olson of Stephenville, Mildred Choate of Abilene and Hilda Rucker of Denver City; and three grandchildren.
Johnny McDorman
ODESSA — Johnny Richard McDorman, 65, of Odessa, a truck driver, died Saturday, Nov. 29, 2003, at his residence.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Chapa Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Sam Presley officiating. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are by Memorial Services Chapa Funeral Home.
He was born in Fort Stockton.
SURVIVORS: Son, Johnny McDorman of Odessa; daughters, DeRenda Brooks and Juanita Tippett, both of Odessa; nine grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Esther Montgomery
SPRINGTOWN — Esther Hamilton Montgomery, 87, of Gilmer, died Monday, Dec. 1, 2003, in Gilmer.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at White’s Funeral Home Chapel in Springtown. Burial will be at Springtown cemetery. Arrangements are by White’s Funeral Home.
She was born in Morringsport, La.
SURVIVORS: Son, H. Clay Montgomery of Lake Kiowa; daughters, Emma Lou Mayers of Odessa, Esther Charlene Hart of Grand Prairie and Peggy Ann Holder of Gilmer; two brothers; 13 grandchildren; and 27 great-grandchildren.
Sam Rodriguez
MIDLAND — Sam T. Rodriguez, 47, of Midland, former owner of Hacienda Mortgage, died Sunday, Nov. 30, 2003, in Midland.
Rosary will be said at 7 p.m. today at Pipkin Funeral Home Chapel. Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Thursday at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with the Rev. Ray Wilhelm officiating. Burial will be at Mount Olive cemetery in Big Spring. Arrangements are by Pipkin Funeral Home.
He was born in San Angelo.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Gloria A. Rodriguez of Midland; sons, Jimmy Rodriguez of Dallas, Adam Rodriguez of Midland and Nickolas “Nick” Rodriguez and Rene Alfonzo Rodriguez, both of Waco; daughter, Crystal Rodriguez of Midland; brothers, Ernest Rodriguez of Odessa and Freddie Rodriguez of Grand Prairie; sisters, Patricia Ortiz of Austin, Gloria Castro of Leander and Cecilia Garcia of Scottsdale, Ariz.; and one grandchild.
Willie Whitten
ODESSA — Willie Jean Whitten, 71, of Odessa, a homemaker, died Tuesday, Dec. 2, 2003, at Hospice House.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at First Baptist Church. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are by Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors.
She was born in Bodcaw, Ark. She was Baptist.
SURVIVORS: Husband, Terry Whitten of Odessa; son, Terry Michael Whitten of Golden, Colo.; daughter, Diane Parker of Odessa; sisters, Dorothy Hamilton of Emmett, Ark. and Mavis Smith of Odessa; and one grandchild.

ODESSA — Andrew Follis, 80, of Odessa, died Monday, Dec. 1, 2003, at the VA Hospital in Big Spring.

Timotea Esparza
FORT STOCKTON — Timotea Esparza, 92, of Imperial, a homemaker, died Saturday, Nov. 29, 2003.
Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Our Lady of Lords Catholic Church in Imperial with the Rev. Nilo officiating. Arrangements by Memorial Funeral Home.
She was born in Terlingua and moved to West Texas in September of 1928. She was Catholic.
SURVIVORS: Sons, Arturo Esparza of Fort Stockton, Apolonio Esparza and Jimmy Esparza both of Odessa, and Fred Esparza of El Paso; daughters, Aurelia Montoya of Imperial, Socoro Mejia of Wildomar, Calif., Emma Bernard of Midland, and Esperanza Esparza of Odessa; brothers, Angel Rey of Monahans, and Celedonio Rey of Midland; sisters, Natividad Esparza of Fort Stockton, and Geronima Flores of Crane; 33 grandchildren; 53 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.

ODESSA — Tommie Ray Fleeman, 82, of Odessa, an oil industry worker, died Saturday, at Medical Center Hospital.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Highland Methodist Church with Mark Scott officiating. Burial will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Trinity Memorial Park in Big Spring. Arrangements by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
He was born in Dallas and was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He was Methodist.
SURVIVORS: Son, Dan Fleeman of Odessa; daughters, Carole Howard of Austin, and Nancy Donavan of Odessa; sisters, Remona Martin and Eloise Morrison, both of Rockport; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

ODESSA — Rosa Lopez Leyva, 53, of Odessa, a hairdresser, died Saturday, Nov. 29, 2003, at Medical Center Hospital.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Harvey Enquerz officiating. Arrangements by Sunset Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home.
She was born in Terrell.

ODESSA — Cheri “Foxy” Lynn Van Norman, 67, of Odessa, the previous owner of the Cotton Patch Lounge, died Sunday, Nov. 30, 2003, at her residence.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Sam Presley officiating. Services entrusted to Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
She was born in Hobbs, N.M., and was Baptist.
SURVIVORS: Sons, Joe Yates of Odessa, Bill Yates of Austin, and Kirk Yates of Albuquerque, N.M.; daughter, Danna Luther of Austin; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

ODESSA — Flora Estelle Middleton, 90, of Lubbock, a retired educator for ECISD, died Saturday, Nov. 29, 2003, at her residence.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Resthaven Memorial cemetery in Midland with the Rev. Clydel Chapman officiating. Arrangements by Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors.
She was born in Hillsboro and was Baptist.
SURVIVORS: Daughters, Jane Tarver of Lubbock, and Kathy Kirkpatrick of Greeley, Colo.; brother H. Dean Crow of Odessa; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

CRANE — Natalia Abalos Sandoval, 70, of Crane, a homemaker, died Saturday, Nov. 29, 2003, at Medical Center Hospital.
Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Good Shepherd Catholic Church with the Rev. Nilo Nalugon officiating. Burial will follow in the Crane County cemetery. Arrangements with Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Home.
She was born in Rankin and was Catholic.
