She was born in Brownfield and was a resident of Kermit for 34 years.

She was born in Villa de Fuente, Mexico, and was an Army veteran.

COAHOMA -- Quinon H. Reid, 78, of Coahoma, died on Saturday, Feb. 21, 1998 in a local hospital.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Coahoma Church of Christ with Russell Mullins officiating. Burial with full military rites will follow at Coahoma cemetery. Arrangements under the direction of Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home.
He was born in Hayden, Ariz. and lived most of his life in Coahoma. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II and was a former prisoner of war. He worked for Texas Electric for more than 30 years and served on the Coahoma School Board.
SURVIVORS: Son, Ronnie Reid of Coahoma; daughter Quinett Jones of Odessa; sisters, Mildred Menser of Coahoma and Sandra Duenzl of Weatherford; brother, Wallace Reid of Coahoma, five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He was born in Lamesa. He had moved to Cedar Creek Lake in 1987 and had been a lifelong resident of Seminole before moving. He was Baptist.
