He was a veteran of World War II. He was born in Terrell, Ark.

MIDLAND — Curtis R. Hays, 77, of Midland, died Wednesday, Jan. 14, 2004, in Midland.

He was born in Turkey, Texas. He was Baptist. He retired from Texaco in 1989 after 42 years of service.

ODESSA — Dr. Don O. Snyder, 70, of Odessa, a geologist of the oil and gas industry, died Wednesday, Jan. 14, 2004, at Medical Center Hospital.
