Henry Wood
ODESSA — Henry F. Wood, 81, of Odessa, a retired employee of Walker Battery & Electric, died Friday, Nov. 14, 2003, at Medical Center Hospital.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Hubbard-Kelly Chapel with Donald Ray Jones officiating. Burial will be at Rose Hill cemetery. Arrangements are by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
He was born in Rochester. He was Baptist. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Lorene Wood of Odessa; sons, David Wood and Paul Wood, both of Odessa; daughters, Carolyn Bevel of Temecula, Calif., Rita Abel of Odessa; 13 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
Hazel Hopton
MONAHANS — Hazel Hopton, 91, of Monahans, died Thursday, Nov. 13, 2003, at Covenant Lakeside Hospital in Lubbock.
Services are pending with Heritage Funeral Home of Monahans.
Ramon Dominguez
PECOS - Ramon Dominguez, 82, of Pecos, a retired rancher, died Saturday, Jan. 24, 2004, at Reeves County Hospital.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Peaceful Garden Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Greenwood cemetery. Arrangements by Peaceful Garden Funeral Home of Pecos.
He was born in Barrancos De Guadalupe, Chihuahua, Mexico, and was a longtime resident of Pecos. He was a member of the Church of Christ.
SURVIVORS: Rosa C. Dominguez of Pecos; son, Oscar Dominguez of Pecos; daughters, Elodia Flores, Elva Estrella, Emma Gabaldon, and Elma Cazares all of Pecos; brother, Esteban Dominguez of Ojinaga, Chihuahua, Mexico; sisters, Ernesta Garcia and Maria Dominguez, both of Ojinaga, Mexico, and Manuela Martinez of Levelland; 15 grandchildren; and 28 great-grandchildren.
Jerry Gleaton
ODESSA - Jerry Dee Gleaton, 79, of Odessa, died Saturday, Jan. 24, 2004, at Medical Center Hospital.
Graveside services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Tuesday at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors.
Jerry was born in May, Texas, and was a WWII veteran.
SURVIVORS: Son, David Gleaton of Odessa; daughter, Dee Hamilton of Odessa; brother, S.H. 'Dick' Gleaton of Monticello, Minn.
Ysabel Luna Jr.
BIG SPRING - Ysabel J. Luna Jr., 65, of Big Spring, owner and operator of Luna Produce, died Saturday, Jan. 24, 2004, in a Midland hospital.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel with the Rev. Kevin Parker, pastor of Hillcrest Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will follow at Trinity Memorial Park. Arrangements be Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home & Crematory of Big Spring.
He was born in Marfa and served in the Air Force. He was Baptist.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Erlinda Luna of Big Spring; sons, George Luna, Moises Luna and Kendall Luna all of Big Spring; daughter, Norma Chavez of Westbrook; brother, Robert Luna of San Antonio; sisters, Rosie Portillo of Pecos and Mary Luna of Wimberly; and two grandchildren.
Berniece Neff
COLEMAN - Berniece Neff, 86, of Coleman, a housewife, died Saturday, Jan. 24, 2004, at Coleman County Medical Center.
Services will be at 10 a.m. today at Stevens Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Don Northway officiating. Burial will follow in the Coleman City cemetery. Arrangements by Stevens Funeral Home.
She was born in Coleman County. She was Baptist.
SURVIVORS: Son, Wayne Neff of Midland; daughter, Norma Kenney of Coleman; sister, Auba Dunham of Fort Worth; six grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.
Iola Byram
BOGATA - Iola Frances Byram, 58, of Quinlan, formerly of Bogata and Kermit, died Saturday, Jan. 10, 2004, at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas.
Services will be at 1 p.m. today at First Baptist Church of Bogata. Burial will be at Cuthand cemetery. Arrangements are by Wood Funeral Homes.
She was born in Kermit.
SURVIVORS: Son, Bobby Jo Byram II of Quinlan; sister, Sandra Kay Furry of Bastrop; and two grandchildren.
Ranell Hopkins
DURANT, Okla. - Ranell Rains Hopkins, 48, of Houston, formerly of Odessa, died Friday, Jan. 9, 2004, in Houston.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Dalton-Holmes Funeral Home. Burial will be at Highland cemetery. Arrangements are by Dalton-Holmes Funeral Home.
She was born in Durant.
SURVIVORS: Husband, Walter Hopkins of Houston; daughters, Jennifer Paulk and Stephanie Hopkins, both of Houston; and three grandchildren.
Maria Jaquez
ALPINE - Maria Jaquez, 82, of Alpine, died Saturday, Jan. 10, 2004, at her residence.
Rosary will be said at 7 p.m. today at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church. Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the church. Burial will be at Elm Grove cemetery. Arrangements are by Geeslin Funeral Home.
She was born in Fort Davis. She was Catholic.
SURVIVORS: Sons, Ruben Jaquez of Monahans, Bonifacio Jaquez Jr. of Alpine, Jesus Jaquez of Midland, Freddy Jaquez of Odessa and Joe Jaquez of California; daughters, Rosa Edwards of Onalaska, Sally Rodriguez of Alpine and Linda Melendez of Lawrenceville, Ga.; brother, Joe Martinez of Alpine; 17 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Robert L. McDonald
BENCHLEY - Robert Leon McDonald 80, of Rowlett, formerly of Odessa, a retired Church of Christ minister, died Wednesday, Jan. 7, 2004, at Lake Pointe Medical Center in Rowlett.
Services were held Jan 10 at Benchley Church of Christ in Benchley. Burial was at Rest-Ever Memorial Park in Bryan with Scott Finley officiating. Arrangements were by Callaway-Jones Funeral Home of Bryan.
He was born in Vernon. He was a U.S. Army Air Corps veteran of World War II.
SURVIVORS: Daughters, Janet Hunt of Garland, Karla Bouman of Flint and Connie Peden of Quinlan; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Melvin Quinn
SEMINOLE - Melvin Ward Quinn, 90, of Seminole, a driller and roughneck, died Sunday, Jan. 11, 2004, at Memorial Hospital in Seminole, following an illness.
Graveside services will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Gaines County cemetery South with the Rev. Dan Dale officiating. Arrangements are by Boyer Funeral Home.
He was born in Montague County. He was Baptist.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Lorene Quinn of Seminole; son, Billy Royce Quinn of Wichita Falls; stepson, Jerry Sampson of Seminole; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Meghann Ross
WICKETT - Meghann Elizabeth Ross, 17, of Wickett, died Sunday, Jan. 11, 2004, in Wickett due to injuries received from an automobile accident.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at First Baptist Church with the Rev. Dennis Phariss officiating. Burial will be at Monahans Memorial cemetery. Arrangements are by Family Funeral Services/ Jackie Harkey of Monahans.
She was born in Monahans.
SURVIVORS: Parents, Troy and Donell Ross of Wickett; sister, Malea Ross of Wickett; and grandparents, C.W. 'Jr.' and Kathryn Ross of Wickett, and Chester Milson of Monahans.

ODESSA - Euretta Standifer-Jones, 76, of Odessa, died Thursday, Jan. 8, 2004, at Medical Center Hospital.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at St. James Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. R.T. McNeil officiating. Burial will be at Ector County cemetery. Arrangements are by Martinez Funeral Home.
She was born in Caldwell.
