FORT STOCKTON — Marguerite Kaufman, 97, of Fort Stockton, a retired telephone schedule clerk, died Wednesday, Dec. 31, 2003, in Fort Stockton.
Services are pending with Fort Stockton Funeral Home. A rosary will be said at 7 p.m. today at the Fort Stockton Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the East Hill cemetery.
She was born in Denver, Colo. She was a 16-year resident of Fort Stockton. She was Catholic.
SURVIVORS: Daughter, Betty Howell of Fort Stockton; son, Louis G. Kaufman of Brooklyn, N.Y.; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Carl Nall
Carl Darwin Nall, 49, of Odessa, died Tuesday, Dec. 30, 2003, at Odessa Home Hospice.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Sunset Memorial cemetery with the Rev. Jimmy Braswell officiating. Arrangements are by Andrews Funeral Home.
He was born in Odessa.

Hazel Polk
ODESSA — Hazel Marie Polk, 86, of Odessa, a homemaker, died Monday, Dec. 29, 2003, at her residence.
Services will be at 3 p.m. today at Oletha Baptist Church in Thorton with the Rev. Wayne Shelton officiating. A previous service was held Wednesday in Odessa. Burial will be at the Ferguson cemetery in Thorton. Arrangements are by Odessa Funeral Home.
She was born in Grosbeck. She was Baptist.
SURVIVORS: Glen Polk of Prosper, Robert Polk and Troy Polk, both of Aspermont, Kenneth Polk of Rockwall, John Polk of Houston, Larry Polk of Amarillo, Virgil Polk of Houston and Larry Dean of Friendswood; daughters, Linda Schneider of Stanton, Martha Anderson of Odessa, Emma Wright of Graham, LaQuitta Fudge of Abilene, Salena Boring of San Angelo and Jonita Jatzlau of Smithville; brothers, B.C. Beard of Garrins and Howard Beard of Kerrville; sisters, Mildred McCants, Joyce V. Groge and Loyce Loosemore, all of Colesprings, and Nita Jones of Kerrville; 52 grandchildren; 71 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren.

PECOS — Helen Richards, 79, of Pecos, a retired secretary, died Wednesday, Dec. 31, 2003, at Medical Center Hospital in Odessa.
Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the First Christian Church with the Rev. Ernie Wagner officiating. Arrangements are by Pecos Funeral Home.
She was born in Haskell County, Okla. She was a Christian.
SURVIVORS: Daughter, LuAnn Thompson of Fort Stockton; sister, Edith Terry of Boise, Idaho; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

ODESSA — Florence J. Richey, 81, of Odessa, a secretary and saleswoman, died Wednesday, Dec. 31, 2003, at Lois Owen Assisted Living.
Graveside services will be at 4 p.m. Saturday at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are by Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors.
She was born in Pittsburgh, Penn. She was Catholic.

ODESSA — Carol Ann “Nana” Stamps, 54, of Odessa, died Wednesday, Dec. 31, 2003, at Medical Center Hospital.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. today at Rose Hill cemetery with the Rev. Terry Wright officiating. Arrangements are by Odessa Funeral Home.
She was born in Phoenix, Ariz. She was Christian.
SURVIVORS: Son, Gregory Leon Stamps of Odessa; daughters, Cynthia “Cindy” Stamps of Odessa, Stacy Lynn Stamps of Odessa and Tracy Lynn Stamps of Lake Elsinore, Calif.; sisters, Betty Gunn, Donna Headrick and Linda Folley Arnold, all of Odessa, and Kathy Curd of Stephenville; and seven grandchildren.

BASTROP, LA. — Tillman B. “Tedo” Spurlock, 68, of Bastrop and formerly of Odessa, a roughneck, died Sunday, Nov. 16, 2003, at Morehouse General Hospital in Bastrop.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Cox Funeral Home of Bastrop. Burial will be at Beechcreek cemetery in Hamburg, Ark. Arrangements are by Cox Funeral Home.
He was born in Parkdale, Ark.
