Mass will be celebrated at 2 p.m. Monday at Santa Rosa Catholic Church with the Rev. Gustavo Lopez officiating. A rosary will be said at 7:30 p.m. Sunday at Peaceful Gardens Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be at Greenwood cemetery. Arrangements by Peaceful Gardens Funeral Home.
He was born in Colorado City. He was a lifetime resident of Pecos. He was Catholic.

KERMIT — Atherine Kilgore, 83, of League City, a retired school teacher, died Tuesday, Oct. 21, 2003, in Webster.

She was born in Troup.

He was born in Fort Stockton and was a World War II veteran.

ODESSA — Carl Robert Ruse Sr., 89, of Odessa, a former Baker Oil Tools employee, died Friday, Oct. 24, 2003.

He was born in Robinson, Ill., and moved to Odessa in 1946. He served in the U.S. Army Air Corp in the Philippines during WWII.

ODESSA — Terrell Jeff “T.J.” Whitley, 91, of Odessa, a pumper in the oil industry, died Sunday, Oct. 26, 2003, at his residence.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 29, 2003, at Sherwood Church of Christ with Lynn Money officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
He was born in Mills County and came to Odessa in 1935. He served in the National Guard and was a member of the Church of Christ.

ANDREWS — LeRoy Burris, 78, of Andrews, a pulling unit operator for DA&S Well Services for 16 years and Carl Ham Oil for three years, died Saturday, Oct. 18, 2003, at Permian Regional Medical Center in Andrews.

He was born in Drumright, Okla., and moved to Andrews from Hobbs, N.M., in 1979. He was an Army veteran of World War II.
