McCAMEY - Pascual Pacheco, 64, of McCamey, a self-employed appliance repairman, died Saturday, Nov. 15, 2003, at Midland Memorial Hospital.
Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with the Rev. Nilo Nalugon officiating. Burial will follow in Resthaven cemetery. Arrangements by Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Home.
He was born in Canane, Sonora, Mexico. He was Catholic.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Agueda Pacheco of McCamey; sons, Saul Pacheco of Crane, and Humberto Pacheco of Odessa; daughters, Patricia Hernandez of Odessa, Maria E. Melendez of Odessa, and Maria A. Pacheco of McCamey; brothers, Marco Polo Pacheco of California, and Louis Pacheco of Juarez, Mexico; Sisters, Olivia Gonzalez of El Paso, Rosalva Pacheco and Dolores Pacheco both of Juarez, Mexico; and nine grandchildren.

ALPINE - Mancies Payne, 73, of Pomona, Calif., a construction worker, died Friday, Nov. 7, 2003, at Kindred Hospital.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church with the Rev. Mike Alcuino officiating. Burial will follow in Holy Angels cemetery. Arrangements by Geeslin Funeral Home.
He was born in Alpine.
SURVIVORS: Brother, David R. Garcia of Alpine; and sister, Manuela Nellie Moreno of Alpine.

Ada Roach
MONAHANS - Ada Rosalie Roach, 88, of Monahans, a retired beauty operator, died Saturday, Nov. 15, 2003, at Monahans Managed Care Center.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. today at First Baptist Church with the Rev. Jeff Box officiating. Burial will be at 1 p.m. at Monahans Memorial cemetery. Arrangements by Family Funeral Services.
She was born in Arden.
SURVIVORS: Sons, John Wesley Russell of Kerrville, and Walter Mathews of Carthage; daughters, Marvilyn White and Rose Byron both of Monahans; sister, Irene Knight of El Paso; 10 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Ethlyn Williams
SEMINOLE - Ethlyn Margaret Williams, 64, of Denver City, a licensed vocational nurse, died Friday, Nov. 14, 2003, at her residence following an lengthy illness.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at First Baptist Church with the Rev. Eugene Reed officiating. Burial will be in Denver City Memorial Park. Arrangements by Boyer Funeral Chapel of Denver City.
She was born in Hondo and had lived in Denver City since 1976. She was Baptist.
SURVIVORS: Husband, Eugene Williams of Denver City; sons, Oscar Wright of Odessa, and Adrian Williams of Denver City; daughter, Sharnee Horton of Denver City; brothers, Marvin Fleming Jr. of Lamesa, Glen Fleming of Lubbock, Steven Fleming of Bryan, and Dennis Fleming of Amarillo; sisters, Virginia Sims and Vanessa Hamden both of Odessa, Roselyn Collins of Bryan, Marlene Canley of Lompoc, Calif., Ida Jo Crenshaw of Arlington, Elva Fleming of San Antonio, and Lanell Cooper of Lompoc, Calif.; one grandchild.

Ruby Hardee
ANDREWS — Ruby Roberson Hardee, 79, of Andrews, a homemaker, died Friday, Nov. 14, 2003, at the Cameroon House in Midland.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today in McNett Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ron Ellison officiating. Burial will follow in the Andrews Old cemetery. Arrangements by McNett Funeral Home.
She was born in Clovis, N.M. She was a four-year resident of Andrews.
SURVIVORS: Daughter, Jerry Lynn Crow of Andrews; son, Dennis Roy Hardee of Amarillo; eight grandchildren; and 13 great grandchildren.

Hazel Hopton
MONAHANS — Hazel Hopton, 91, of Monahans, a homemaker, died Thursday, Nov. 13, 2003, at Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the First Presbyterian Church with Cathy Anderson officiating. Arrangements by Heritage Funeral Home.
She was born in Armstrong Mills, Ohio. She was Presbyterian.
SURVIVORS: Chester Hopton of Monahans; sister, Ellen Pannell of Tempe, Ariz.

Manuel Solis Sr.
PECOS — Manuel Solis Sr., 75, of Pecos, a retired construction worker, died Friday, Nov. 14, 2003, at Reeves County Hospital in Pecos.
Mass will be celebrated at noon Monday at Santa Rosa Catholic Church with the Rev. Gustavo Lopez officiating. A rosary will be said at 7:30 p.m. today at Pecos Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Greenwood cemetery in Pecos. Arrangements by Pecos Funeral Home.
He was born in Carmargo, Chihuahua, Mexico. He was Catholic.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Paula Solis; sons, Manuel Solis Jr. and Eric Navarrette, both of Pecos; brother, Moises Solis of Carmargo, Chihuahua, Mexico; and one grandchild.

James Taylor
ODESSA — James A. “Bill” Taylor, 81, of Odessa, a retired engineer assistant for Mobil Oil, died Saturday, Nov. 15, 2003, at Crane Memorial Hospital.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Sunset Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Curtis Brewer officiating. Arrangements by Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.
He was born in Vivian, La. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II.
SURVIVORS: Brother, Don Taylor of Odessa.

McCAMEY — Guadalupe Abalos Barrandey, 64, of McCamey, died Saturday, Nov. 15, 2003, at her home in McCamey.

He was born in Matachic, Chihuahua, Mexico.

ODESSA — Charles E. Castleberry, 72, of Odessa, a truck driver, died Friday, Nov. 7, 2003, at Medical Center Hospital after a long battle with cancer.
Services will be at 4 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 11, 2003, at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home with the Rev. Jimmy Braswell officiating. Arrangements by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
He was born in Reydon, Okla., and came to Odessa in the late 1970s. He was a U.S. Army veteran and a Christian.
SURVIVORS: Son, Jim Castleberry of Odessa; two other sons and a daughter who reside in California; brother, Don Castleberry of Lancaster, Calif.

Tony Gonzalez
MONAHANS — Tony Gonzalez, 36, of Coyanosa, a helicopter mechanic, died Friday, Nov. 7, 2003, in Amarillo.

He was born in Pecos.
