EDEN — Hannah J. Hogan, 99, of Amarillo, a schoolteacher, died Saturday, Nov. 8, 2003.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Eden cemetery.
Arrangements are by Blackburn-Shaw Funeral Directors, Memorial Chapel.
She was born in Coleman County and had been a resident of Amarillo since 1987.
SURVIVORS: Daughters, Erma LaRuth Flewell of Chapin, S.C., and Minnie Venable of Amarillo; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

MONAHANS — Heather Jasso, 21, of Monahans, a student, died Thursday, Nov. 6, 2003, in Lubbock.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. John Catholic Church with the Rev. John Lucido officiating.
Burial will be in Monahans cemetery.

She was born in Odessa.

ODESSA — Doris Levins, 74, of Odessa, a retired bakery clerk, died Sunday, Nov. 9, 2003, at Hospice House in Odessa.

She was born in Lubbock and was Baptist.

PECOS — Elvira Rodriguez, 79, of Pecos, a homemaker, died Saturday, Nov. 8, 2003, at Medical Center Hospital in Odessa.

Clara Matilda Nutzhorn
ODESSA — Clara Matilda Nutzhorn, 90, of Odessa passed away Monday, March 29, 2004, in the Hospice House. She was born March 3, 1914, in Oslo, Norway.
She moved to Odessa four years ago from California.
She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
She had worked in the Navy shipyards during WWII. She loved nature, gardening, walking and dogs.
She is preceded in death by her first husband, Gerhard Gudmunson; and her second husband, John Henry Nutzhorn.
She is survived by her son, Wayne Gudmunson of Sundance, Wyo.; daughters, Diana Riley and Darlene Cluck, both of Ohio, and Geraldine Shugar of Odessa; 13 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 11:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Saturday, April 3, 2004, at the Westside Apostolic Church with Bro. Allen Harris officiating.

Mary Lee Turner
MONAHANS — Mary Lee Turner, 77, of Odessa died March 26, 2004, at Alliance Hospital in Odessa, Texas. She was born July 6, 1926, in Oklahoma to George Owen and Sofia Ann (Wilson) Sears. She was a Tool Room Monitor.
Services are set for 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 31, 2004, at the Monahans Memorial Cemetery Pavilion with the Rev. Van Dickson officiating.
Burial will be in Monahans Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Family Funeral Services/Jackie Harkey.
Survivors include her son, John O. Turner of Hobbs, N.M.; and daughters, Patricia Ann Gandy of Monahans and Janice Lee Feil of Lake Havasu City, Ariz.; her brother, Denver Sears of Sacramento, Calif.; and sisters, Marie Weiland and Edye Asti, both of Santa Rosa, Calif.
Also a special friend, Hilton Edson of Odessa.
She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Margaret Sue Patterson in 1979.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the Lighthouse for the Blind.
Theda Dyer
LOVINGTON, N.M. — Theda Dyer, 83, of Lovington, N.M., passed away Monday, April 26, 2004, at the Hospice House in Odessa.
She was born May 14, 1920, in Doole, Texas.
Theda married Arthur Dyer July 3, 1946, in Lovington.
She attended Trinity Baptist Church and was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary and the American Wacky Widows.
She was preceded in death by her husband; her son, Art Shipman; daughter, Jan Herriage; and great-grandson, Zane Herriage.
She is survived by two daughters, Peggy Bingham and husband, Richard, of Lovington, N.M., and Sylvia Herriage and husband, Keith, of Odessa; 10 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be grandsons, Craig Bingham, Stephen Herriage, Darrell Kruse, Eric Smith, John Herriage, Rick Brooker and Kenneth Shipman.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 28, 2004, at Trinity Baptist Church with the Rev. Herb Bryant officiating. Interment will follow at Resthaven Cemetery.

Roscoe Charles “Mac” McCutchan
ODESSA — Roscoe C. “Mac” McCutchan, 90, of Odessa, died April 25, 2004 after a brief illness.
There will be a memorial service at 4 p.m. Thursday, April 29, 2004, at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
Born in Heavener, Okla., in 1913, he attended Notre Dame University and the University of Oklahoma before graduating from Colorado School of Mines as a Geological Engineer in 1938.
He married Mary Nelson of Denver, Colo., in 1937.
He worked in the oil business for 60 years, moving his family 14 times before settling in Odessa in 1948 working for Phillips Petroleum Co.
Always enamored with the music of the Big Bands of the 1930s and 40s, he was instrumental in the formation of the Odessa Jazz Party in 1967 and served on the Board of Directors for many years.
It later combined with the Midland jazz group to form the West Texas Jazz Society.
His wife, Mary, his son, Mike, and grandson, Kevin, predeceased him.
He leaves a daughter, Carol Larsen of Aurora, Colo.; and grandchildren, Michael McCutchan of Cocoa Beach, Fla., Inga Larsen Guernsey of Bennett, Colo., and Eric Larsen of Las Vegas, Nev.; and four great-grandchildren.
