Mass will be celebrated at 2 p.m. today at St. Joseph Catholic Church with the Rev. Ralph Barranger officiating. Rosary was said Wednesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Burial will be at Kermit cemetery. Arrangements by Cooper Funeral Home.
She was born in Buena Vista and was a 44-year resident of Kermit. She was Catholic.

ODESSA -- John Frederick Kern, 81, of Odessa, a retired employee of Miether Machine Co., died Tuesday, Feb. 10, 1998, at Medical Center Hospital.
Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Asbury United Methodist Church with the Rev. Kathryn Strempke officiating. Arrangements by Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors.
He was born in Ann Arbor, Mich., and was a 32-year resident of Odessa. He was Methodist.

BIG SPRING -- Davida B. Neece, 76, of Fort Worth, a retired nurse at Big Spring State Hospital, died Monday, Feb. 9, 1998, in a Fort Worth Hospital.
Graveside services will be held at 1:30 p.m. today at Trinity Memorial Park with the Rev. Dudley Mullins officiating. Arrangements by Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home.
She was born in Mesquite and moved to Fort Worth in 1990. She was Baptist.

MONAHANS -- Jesse C. Young, 82, of Monahans, a retired Haliburton employee, died Wednesday, Feb. 11, 1998, at Monahans Senior Center.

He was born in Jones County and was a longtime resident of Monahans. He was a member of the Church of Christ.

He was born in Big Spring and was a Baptist. He was an Army veteran of World War II.
