ODESSA — Grady Lee Kellar, 89, of Odessa, a retired employee of Pennzoil Sulphur, died Sunday, March 28, 2004, at his son’s residence in Coahoma.
Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Sunset Memorial Gardens with Elwin Collom officiating. Arrangements are by Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.
He was born in Cross Plains and lived in McCamey for many years.
SURVIVORS: Son, Carvin K. Kellar of Coahoma; daughter, Gradene Gerbert of Pecos; brother, Doil Kellar of Aransas Pass, Texas; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Paula Pineda
MARFA — Paula N. Pineda, 90, of Marfa, a homemaker, died Sunday, March 28, 2004, in a Pecos area hospital.
Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. today at St. Mary’s Catholic Church with the Rev. Rick Ruiz officiating. Burial will be at St. Mary’s Catholic cemetery. Arrangements are by Memorial Funeral Home.
She was born in Ruidosa, Texas, and had lived in Marfa since 1935.
SURVIVORS: Daughters, Maria F. Vizcaino and Socorro P. Whatley, both of Marfa, Irene Hernandez of Presidio and Tina P. Ramos of Del Rio; sons, Faustino A. Pineda of Redford, Leo N. Pineda and Robert N. Pineda, both of El Paso, Rene N. Pineda of Marfa and Martin Pineda of Austin; brother, Calistro M. Nunez of Marfa; 23 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

Odessa Pipkin
MONAHANS — Odessa Pipkin, 94, of Monahans, a homemaker, died Monday, March 29, 2004, at her residence.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Monahans Christian Assembly with the Rev. Van Dickson officiating. Burial will be at the Monahans Memorial cemetery. Arrangements are by Family Funeral Services/Jackie Harkey.
She was born in Carthage.
SURVIVORS: Son, Marion Charles Pipkin of Quartzsite, Ariz.; daughter, Maxine Burns of Monahans; brothers, Cecil Choate of Phoenix, Ariz., Bill Choate of Overguard, Ariz., and Daniel Choate of Hemphill; sisters, Ethel Yarbrough of Tucson, Ariz., Jean Johnson of Portland, Ore., and Ruth Cross of Shasta, Calif.; 11 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and 15 great-great-grandchildren.

ODESSA — Willie Mae Beck, 69, of Odessa, died Saturday, March 27, 2004, at St. Luke’s Hospital in Houston.

ODESSA — Alberto Rodriguez, 62, of Odessa, died Monday, March 29, 2004, at Medical Center Hospital.

ODESSA — Richard “The Duke” Smith, 65, of Odessa, died Sunday, March 28, 2004, at his residence.

Cresencio Anchondo
PECOS — Cresencio Anchondo, 67, of Pecos, a retired truck driver, died Saturday, Dec. 6, 2003, at Medical Center Hospital.
Rosary will be said at 7:30 p.m. today at Pecos Funeral Home Chapel. Mass will be celebrated at noon Wednesday at Santa Rosa Catholic Church with the Rev. Ben Flores officiating. Burial will be in Mount Evergreen cemetery. Arrangements are by Pecos Funeral Home.
He was born in Tierras, Nuevas, Chihuahua. He was Catholic.
SURVIVORS: Sons, Cresencio Anchondo Jr., Roy Anchondo and Javier Anchondo, all of Odessa, and Jesse Anchondo and Sam Anchondo, both of Pecos; daughters, Lupita Patino and Imelda Anchondo, both of Pecos and Wilma Bernal of Odessa; brothers, Juan Anchondo and Bernardo Anchondo, both of Pecos; sisters, Felix Abila of Barstow and Tia Cres of Topeka, Kan.; 16 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.

Theresa Bevis
STANTON — Theresa J. Bevis, 41, of Stanton, a homemaker, died Sunday, Dec. 7, 2003, at Stanton Care Center.

She was born in Midland.

She was born in Presidio.

MIDLAND — Flora M. Evans, 71, of Midland, died Sunday, Dec. 7, 2003 in Midland.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Ellis Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Bob Porterfield officiating. Burial will be at Resthaven Memorial Park. Arrangements are by Ellis Funeral Home.
She was born in New York City.
SURVIVORS: Husband, Robert L. Evans Jr. of Midland; sons, Michael Roy Evans and Terrance Lee Evans, both of Midland; sisters, Glynn Morrison of Corsicana and Sharon Brown of Fort Worth; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Joe Hull
MONAHANS — Joe Hull, 88, of Midland, formerly of Monahans, a retired gager for Gulf Oil Co., died Sunday, Dec. 7, 2003, at Mabee Healthcare Center in Midland.
The family will have a private memorial service. Arrangements are by Heritage Funeral Home.
He was born in Ireland, Texas. He was a member of the Church of Christ.
SURVIVORS: Son, Michael Hull of San Antonio; daughters, Pat Freeman of Midland and Susan Jordan of Lovington, N.M; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Marvin Perkins Jr.
ODESSA — Marvin Perkins Jr., 49, of Odessa, a Paraffin Unit operator, died Sunday, Dec. 7, 2003, at Hospice House.
Graveside services will be held at 4 p.m. Friday at Sunset Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Dewey Blevins officiating. Arrangements are by Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors
He was born in Odessa.
SURVIVORS: Sons, Roger Perkins, Marvin Jeffery Perkins and Dustin Perkins, all of Houston and Mark Perkins of Austin; daughter, Crystal Perkins of Austin; and sister, Frances McQuistion of Odessa.

STINNETT — Jerry D. Weber, 58, of Borger, a machinist and ironworker for Industrial Machine Ironworkers Local Union 408, died Friday, Nov. 21, 2003, in Lubbock.
Graveside services were held Nov. 24, 2003, at Stinnett cemetery with the Rev. Leonard Forsythe officiating. Arrangements were by Minton-Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.
He was born in Wichita, Kan. He was Baptist. He was a union delegate.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Becky Weber of Borger; son, Les Weber of Borger; brothers, Mike Weber of Borger and Dale Weber of Amarillo; sisters, Cindy Goforth and Patty Sursa, both of Amarillo and Nancy Hill of Odessa; and three grandchildren.
