ANDREWS - Twila A. Paul, 85, of Andrews, died Tuesday, Jan. 6, 2004, at her residence.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Grace Baptist Church in Andrews with the Rev. Ted Short officiating. Graveside services will be at 4 p.m. at Lamesa Memorial Park in Lamesa. Arrangements are by McNett Funeral Home.
She was born in Grangeville, Idaho. She was Baptist. She worked for Wentworth Clothing Manufacturing, Kirby West Vacuum Manufacturing and Buddy’s Drive In.
SURVIVORS: Son, Phillip Paul of Lamesa; daughter, Georgia Carruth of Andrews; five grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.

Daniel Rios Jr.
ODESSA - Daniel Rios Jr., 22, of Odessa, died Tuesday, Jan. 6, 2004, at Medical Center Hospital.
Prayer services will be at 7 p.m. Thursday and Friday at Latter Rain Worship Center. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Latter Rain Worship Center with the Rev. Craig DeArmond officiating. Burial will be at Rose Hill cemetery. Arrangements are by Odessa Funeral Home.
He was born in Odessa.
SURVIVORS: Parents, Daniel and Rosemary Rios of Odessa; and sister, Mary Elizabeth Rios of Odessa.

Claudine Wilson
SAN ANGELO - Claudine Mullane Wilson, 83, of San Angelo, previously of Odessa, died Monday, Jan. 5, 2004, at Regency House Care Center in San Angelo.
Graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are by Robert Massie Funeral Home.
She was born in Van Horn.
SURVIVORS: Sons, Dennis Wilson, of Odessa, Tom Wilson, of Rowlett, and Lester Wilson, of Eugene, Ore.; daughters, Peggy Cartwright and Micki Johnston, both of San Angelo; one sister; and 10 grandchildren.

ODESSA - Baldemar L. Garcia Sr., 73, of Odessa, died Tuesday, Jan. 6, 2004, at his residence.

He was born in Seminole.
SURVIVORS: Mother, Jean Martin of San Antonio; father and stepmother, Eugene and Dorthy Brown of Andrews; brothers, Gary Brown of Midland, Aaron Brown of Andrews, Curtis Brown of Odessa, Amos Allen and Kenneth Allen, both of Houston; sisters, Mary McCain of Andrews and Zelda Brown of Austin.

ODESSA - Dollie Mae Hogue, 69, of Odessa, a sitter for the elderly, died Monday, Feb. 9, 2004.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home with Lynn Money officiating. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gar-dens. Arrangements are by Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.
She was born in Kenton, Tenn., and moved to Odessa in 1965. She was a member of the Church of Christ.
SURVIVORS: Daughter, Glenda Brown of Odessa; son, Glen Hogue Jr. of Odessa; brother, Gerald Wiley of Sharon, Tenn.; sisters, Sue Wilson, Grace McKay, Carol Garrett and Ann Gardner, all of Martin, Tenn., Kay Orr of Sharon, Tenn., Louise Loveland of Dresden, Tenn., and Linda Muzzall of Clarksville, Tenn.; and five grandchildren.

ABILENE - Laura Zelma Johnson, 98, of Monahans, a retired nursery worker for First Baptist Church, died Tuesday, Feb. 10, 2004, at her residence.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Elmwood Chapel in Abilene with the Rev. Ken Andress officiating. Burial will be at Elmwood Memorial Park. Arrangements are by Family Funeral Services/Jackie Harkey.
She was born in Royse City.
SURVIVORS: Sons, Arlen Johnson of Monahans, Monty Johnson of Elizabeth, Colo., Jerry Johnson of Ocean Springs, Miss., and Alan Johnson of Canton; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

ODESSA - Richard L. Redman, 61, of Odessa, a minister and a welder, died Sunday, Feb. 8, 2004, at Home Hospice.

MIDLAND - E. Jean Myers Teel, 67, of Midland, a former inventory specialist at RGIS, died Monday, Feb. 9, 2004.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Friday at Ellis Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be at Resthaven Memorial Park. Arrangements are by Ellis Funeral Home.
She was born in Algerita.
SURVIVORS: Husband, Era Vaughn Teel of Midland; daughter, Nerissa Teel; son, Eric Teel; sister, Lucille Myers Bourke; brother, Orman Johnny Myers; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

PECOS - Juan N. Varela, 75, of Pecos, a retired gas station operator, died Tuesday, Feb. 10, 2004, at Medical Center Hospital in Odessa.
Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday at Santa Rosa Catholic Church. Burial will be at Greenwood cemetery. Arrangements are by Peaceful Garden Funeral Home.
He was born in Crystal City and was a lifetime resident of Pecos. He was Catholic.

She was born in Gilmer.
