Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church with the Rev. David Herrera officiating. A rosary will be said at 7 p.m. Monday at the church. Burial will be at the Fort Stockton Catholic cemetery. Arrangements are by Memorial Funeral Home.
He was born in Fort Stockton. He was Catholic.

W.D. Simon
KERMIT — W.D. “Bill” Simon, 74, of Kermit, a self-employed oil lease operator, died Friday, April 16, 2004, at M.D. Anderson Hospital in Houston.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Kermit cemetery. Arrangements are by Cooper Funeral Chapel.
He was a 50-year resident of Kermit. He was a veteran of both the U.S. Army and the U.S. Air Force.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Velda Simon of Kermit; son, Ralph D. Simon of Kermit; daughter, Brenda Kay McDiffitt; brothers, Bob Simon and George Simon; sister, Margie; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Delma Walters
FORT STOCKTON — Delma R. Walters, 70, of Fort Stockton, a retired waitress, died Friday, April 16, 2004, in Fort Stockton.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Church of Christ with Harold Durham officiating. Burial will follow in East Hill cemetery. Arrangements are by Fort Stockton Funeral Home.
She was born in Sanderson and lived in Fort Stockton for the last 17 years. She was a member of the Church of Christ.

RANKIN — Clarence Elwin Winn, 86, of Rankin, a retired Phillips Pipeline employee, died Saturday, April 17, 2004, at his home.

He was born in Eureka, Kan. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II. He was Methodist.

ODESSA — Billy Ray Everett, 65, of Odessa, a retired production foreman for OXY Production, died Wednesday, April 14, 2004, at his residence.

He was born in Bonanza, Ark., and moved to Odessa in 1952.
