Ramon Alvarez Sr.
BIG SPRING Ramon Alvarez Sr., 82, of Lubbock and formerly of Big Spring, a retired foreman for Kasch Brothers Construction Company, died Friday, April 9, 2004, at Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock.
Vigil services will be at 7 p.m. today at Myers & Smith Chapel. Mass will celebrated at 11 a.m. Monday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with the Rev. James Plagens officiating. Burial will be at Mount Olive Memorial Park. Arrangements are by Myers & Smith Funeral Home.
He was born in Mexico and moved to Big Spring in 1928. He was an Army veteran of World War II and was a member of St. Thomas Catholic Church.

He was born in Fort Davis. He was Catholic.
