VAN HORN - Nina Ruth Easley, 82, of Van Horn, died Sunday, June 6, 2004, at Culberson Hospital.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. at First Baptist Church with the Rev. Richard Smith officiating. Burial will be at Van Horn cemetery. Arrangements are by Memorial Funeral Home.
She was born in Apache, Okla.
SURVIVORS: Husband, Lawton Easley of Van Horn; son, Edwin Easley of Van Horn; daughter, Sharon Behnke of Van Horn; brother, Wesley Miller of Eldorado, Okla.; and numerous grandchildren; and great-grandchildren.

Homer Jefferson
ALPINE - Homer Gene Jefferson, 76, of Alpine, a retired educator, died Saturday, June 5, 2004, in a Fort Stockton nursing home.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. today at First United Methodist Church. Burial will be at Elm Grove cemetery. Arrangements are by Geeslin Funeral Home.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Elinor Jefferson of Alpine; daughter, Rita Stracener; son, Dave Jefferson; and four grandchildren.

Mike Ligon
SEYMOUR - Mike Ligon, 56, of Seymour, a retired farmer and rancher, died Monday, June 7, 2004, in Seymour.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at First Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Ed Hart officiating. Burial will be at Riverview cemetery. Arrangements are by Archer Funeral Home.
He was born in Seymour. He was in the Army Reserves.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Marcia Ligon of Seymour; daughters, Mandi Ligon of Sweetwater and Molly Stroebel of Seymour; sister, Brooke Ligon of Franklin, Mass.; and two grandchildren.

L. McClure
MILLERSVIEW - L. Earl McClure, 86, of Fort Stockton, an employee for Firestone, died Sunday, June 6, 2004, in Fort Stockton.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Millersview cemetery with the Rev. A.D. Jackson officiating. Burial will be at Millersview cemetery. Arrangements are by Fort Stockton Funeral Home.
He was born in Millersview. He was a Baptist.
SURVIVORS: Sons, Phillip Loy McClure of Pagosa Spring, Colo., and Dennis Payne McClure of St. George, Utah; sister, Billy Clark of Fort Stockton; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

ABILENE - Newton J. Winn, 86, of Seguin, a retiree of Gulf Oil, died Tuesday, June 1, 2004, in Seguin.
Services were held at 2 p.m. Thursday, June 3, 2004, at Elmwood Funeral Home with the Rev. Wayne Oglsby officiating.
Burial was held at Elmwood Memorial Park. Arrangements were by Elmwood Funeral Home,

SURVIVORS: Wife, Velma Green Winn of Seguin; sons, John Winn of N.Y., and Steve Winn and Richard Winn, both of Odessa; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

SURVIVORS: Wife, Beatrice A. Allen of Odessa; son, Elza Allen of Centrail, Ill.; stepsons, Donald Lawrence of Lancaster, Calif., and John Lawrence of Colorado; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Bastion Burney
ODESSA - Bastion Cole Burney, infant son of Brian and April Burney of Odessa, died Wednesday, May 19, 2004, at Medical Center Hospital.
Services were held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Temple Baptist Church with the Rev. Donald Bugg officiating. Burial was at Sunset Memorial Garden. Arrangements were by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
