ANDREWS — Ouida Doty Carruth, 88, of Andrews, died Monday, April 26, 2004, at her residence.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at First Baptist Church with Dr. H.A. Hanks officiating. Burial will be at the Andrews Old cemetery. Arrangements are by McNett Funeral Home.
She was born in Gainesville and moved to Andrews in 1948. She was a member of First Baptist Church.
SURVIVORS: Daughter, Kendall Robertson of Andrews; stepbrother, Wayne Doty of Sudan; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Elizabeth Mann
EL PASO — Elizabeth Mann, 96, of Kermit, a retired clerk for C.R. Anthony Co., died Sunday, April 25, 2004, at her residence.
Memorial graveside services will be at 3 p.m. June 30 at Restlawn cemetery in El Paso. Arrangements are by Family Services Funeral Parlor in Kermit.
She was born in Fort Davis.
SURVIVORS: Sons, Jerry L. Mann of Kermit and Jack Mann of Midland; daughter, Sarah J. Wall of El Paso; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Roscoe McCutchan
ODESSA — Roscoe Charles “Mac” McCutchan, 90, of Odessa, a retired geological engineer for Phillips Petroleum Co., died Sunday, April 25, 2004, at Medical Center Hospital.
Memorial services will be at 4 p.m. Wednesday at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home Chapel. Arrangements are by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
He was born in Heavener, Okla.
SURVIVORS: Daughter, Carol Larsen of Aurora, Colo.; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Grace Sosa
ODESSA — Grace “Chita” Hernandez Sosa, 69, of Odessa, co-founder and owner of Sosas’ Country Store, died Friday, April 23, 2004, at Medical Center Hospital.
Mass will be celebrated at 2 p.m. today at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church with the Rev. Joseph Uecker officiating. Burial will be at Rose Hill cemetery. Arrangements are by Odessa Funeral Home.
She was born in Big Spring. She was Christian Catholic.
SURVIVORS: Husband, Manuel P. Sosa of Odessa; sons, Manuel Sosa Jr. and Ricky Sosa, both of Odessa; daughters, Rosie Garcia, Olivia Muro, Celia “Bobbie” Huerta and Deborah “Debi” Sosa Llanez, all of Odessa; brothers, Esquievel Hernandez and Theodore “Chololo” Hernandez, both of Big Spring, Genaro Hernandez of Odessa and Isidero Hernandez of Albuquerque, N.M.; sisters, Frances “Kika” Parras of Big Spring, Julia Cruz of Fort Worth, Maria Cruz Hinojos of Big Spring, Lorenza “Lenche” Paradez of Greely, Colo., Josefina “Pina” Hernandez of Plainview; 16 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren.

ODESSA — Devin L. Cummings Jr., infant, of Odessa, died Friday, April 23, 2004, at Odessa Regional Hospital.
Services will be at 10 a.m. today at Babyland at Sunset Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Charles Tapley officiating. Arrangements are by Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.
He was born in Odessa.
SURVIVORS: Parents, Karen Thiesfeld and Devin Cummings of Odessa; sisters, Kiana Thiesfeld and Jordan Thiesfeld of Odessa; and grandparents, Sheila Thiesfeld, Robert Thiesfeld, Della McCubbin and Paul McCubbin, all of Odessa.

Nona Felts
BROWNWOOD — Nona Felts, 92, of Brownwood, died Friday, April 23, 2004, in Brownwood.
Services will be at 3 p.m. today at the Howell-Doran Funeral Home Chapel in San Saba with the Rev. Sam Crosby officiating. Burial will be at the Cherokee cemetery in Cherokee, Texas. Arrangements are by the Howell-Doran Funeral Home of San Saba.
SURVIVORS: Daughter, Linda DeVore of Austin; four brothers; three sisters; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

CLEBURNE — Sandy Denise Nance, 37, of Cleburne, a health care provider, died Thursday, April 22, 2004, in Cleburne.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 27, 2004, at Hubbard-Kelly Chapel with Erron Mercer officiating. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
She was born in Texarkana, Ark.
SURVIVORS: Sons, T.J. Rogers, Brian Wheeler and Dusty Guyett, all of Odessa; mother, Barbara Nance of Odessa; father, Jackie Nance of Odessa; stepfather, Jerry Oden of Odessa; and grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. R.D. Chandler of Odessa and Mr. and Mrs. Hilton Cox of Graham.

Stella Slaughter
ODESSA — Stella J. Slaughter, 83, of Odessa, a homemaker, died April 23, 2004, at her residence.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jimmy Braswell officiating. Arrangements are by Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.
She was born in Oklahoma.
SURVIVORS: Son, Mike Slaughter of Colorado; daughters, Linda Loper and Cynthia Bentley of Odessa; sister, Vonceil Newton of Big Spring; brother, John Willingham of Victoria; 16 grandchildren; and 35 great-grandchildren.

McCAMEY — Lorena A. Gomez, 45, died Sunday, April 25, 2004 at her home.
Services are pending with Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Home of McCamey.

Jewel Francis
LORAINE — Jewel Brown Francis, 83, of Loraine, died Thursday, April 22, 2004, in Midland.
Graveside services will be at 2:30 p.m. today at the cemetery in Loraine. Arrangements are by Kiker-Seale Funeral Home.
She was born in Loraine.
SURVIVORS: Son, Glenn Brown of Midland; daughter, Cathy Martell of Colorado; numerous grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren.

Clayton Henson
MIDLAND — Clayton W. Henson, 20, of Stanton, died Saturday, April 17, 2004, in Iraq.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday, April 26, 2004, at First Baptist Church in Midland with the Rev. David Harp officiating and Van Pendergrass assisting. Interment will follow at Evergreen cemetery in Stanton. Arrangements are by Gilbreath Funeral Home.
He was born in Big Spring. Henson was a U.S. Army Private 1st Class in the 2nd Armored Calvary Regiment.

She was born in Clarksburg, W.Va.
