MONAHANS -- James Leroy Hardaway, 83, of Monahans, owner/operator of a music company, died Monday, May 11, 1998, at Terrace West Nursing Center in Midland.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at First Christian Church with the Rev. Gene Brown officiating. Burial will be at Monahans Memorial cemetery. Arrangements by Harkey Funeral Home.
He was born in Brock and moved to Monahans in 1931. He was a member of First Christian Church.

ODESSA -- Edgar H. Keese, 77, of Odessa, a retired employee of Lee Motor Freight, died Sunday, May 10, 1998, at Medical Center Hospital.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. today at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home with the Revs. Glenn Harlin and Clydel Chapman officiating. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
He was born in Hobbs, Texas, and moved to Odessa in 1937 from Electra. He was an Air Force veteran of World War II.
Survivors: Wife, Dorothy Keese of Odessa; daughters, Cheryl Keith and Paula Dykstra, both of Odessa; and four grandchildren.

She was born in Stephenville and moved to Odessa four years ago from Kermit. She was a member of the Church of Christ.

She was born in Slaton and had been a resident of Seminole for many years after moving from Odessa. She was a member of the Church of Christ.
