She was born March 16, 1924, in Milburn, Okla.

FORT STOCKTON -- Glenn J. Newton, 78, died Friday, May 8, 1998, at the Fort Stockton Nursing Center.
Services will be at 10 a.m. today at Immanuel Baptist Church with the Rev. Skip Hill officiating. Burial will be at the East Hill cemetery. Arrangements by Fort Stockton Funeral Home.
He was born Oct. 9, 1919, in Portland, Ore., and had been a Fort Stockton resident 20 years. He served in the United States Army Air Force during World War II. He was Baptist.

Jacinto Vasquez Jr.
MONAHANS -- Jacinto Ortega Vasquez Jr., 51, died Saturday, May 9, 1998, at Medical Center Hospital in Odessa.
Mass will be celebrated today at 11 a.m. at St. John's Catholic Church. Burial will be at the Monahans Memorial cemetery. Arrangements by Harkey Funeral Home.
He was born June 19, 1946, in Del Rio and had lived in Monahans since 1968. He was Catholic.
Survivors: Wife, Virginia Vasquez of Monahans; brothers, Jose Felan of Monahans and Oscar Felan of Hadley; sisters, Maria Herrera and Juanita Guerrero, both of Del Rio.

She was born in Erath County and moved to Odessa from Midland in 1948. She was a member of the Church of Christ.

She was born in Alpine. She was Catholic.
