Mass will be celebrated at 2 p.m. Monday at Santa Rosa Catholic Church with t he Rev. Trine Fuentez officiating. A rosary will be said at 7 p.m. today at Peaceful Gardens Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be at Greenwood cemetery. Arrangements are by Peaceful Gardens Funeral Home.
He was a lifetime resident of Pecos. He was Catholic.

WOODWARD, Okla. — Richard Wayne Swindle, 57, of Woodward, Okla., an oilfield consultant, died Saturday, April 17, 2004, at his residence.
Memorial services were April 22 at Zwanziger Funeral Chapel in Woodward, Okla., with Gordon Lawson officiating. Arrangements were by Zwanziger Funeral Home.
He was born in Tyler. He was formerly of Odessa.

FORT STOCKTON — Oscar Valdez, 65, of Fort Stockton, died Saturday, May 1, 2004, in Odessa.
Mass will be celebrated at 2 p.m. Monday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church. A rosary will be said at 7 p.m. today at the church. Interment will be in the Fort Stockton Catholic Community cemetery. Arrangements are by Memorial Funeral Home.

FORT STOCKTON — Gene Denison, 80, of Odessa, a former employee with Texaco and Shell, died Tuesday, May 11, 2004, at Home Hospice.

He was born in Hennepin, Okla., and moved to Odessa in 1966 from Fort Stockton. He was a Navy veteran of World War II and was Methodist.
