ODESSA — William Joseph Robertson, 87, of Odessa, died Wednesday, Jan. 28, 2004, at Medical Center Hospital.
Services are pending with Chapa Funeral Home.

Stanley Ball
ODESSA — Stanley Ball, 74, of Odessa, an independent landman, died Tuesday, June 1, 2004, at Medical Center Hospital.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. today at First Baptist Church with the Rev. Curtis Brewer officiating. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors.
He was born in Lorenzo. He served in the Army and was Baptist.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Joyce Ball of Odessa; son, Larry Ball of Garland; daughter, LeAnn Ball Hadden of Midland; sisters, Fern Barnett and Robbye Walker, both of Odessa; one grandchild; two step-grandchildren; and two step great-grandchildren.

Jackie Hampton Sr.
ODESSA — Jackie D. Hampton Sr., 68, of Odessa, a retired diesel mechanic, died Monday, May 31, 2004, at his residence.
Services are scheduled at 10 a.m. Friday at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jimmy Braswell officiating. Arrangements by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
He was born in Seagraves.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Jimmie Hampton of Odessa; son, Jackie D. Hampton Jr. of Odessa; daughters, Schylet Davis of Brownwood, Susan Hampton of Midland, and Natalie Horton of Odessa; sister, Jean McWhirter of Houston; and two grandchildren.

Conrada Jaquez
KERMIT — Conrada Vara Jaquez, 85, of Kermit, a homemaker, died Tuesday, June 1, 2004, in Kermit.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at First Baptist Church with the Rev. Dudley Mullins officiating. Arrangements by Family Services Funeral Parlor.
She was born in Sierra Blanca, Hudspeth County.
SURVIVORS: Son, Catarino Jaquez Jr. of Andrews; daughters, Sandy Hernandez of Kermit, Elida Subia of Andrews and Mary Lozano of Eldorado; brother, Joe Vara of Kermit; sister, Candy Mesa of Kermit; 22 grandchildren; 46 great-grandchildren; and two great great-grandchildren.

Bettye Williams Roberts
MIDLAND — Bettye Williams Roberts, 77, of Midland, died Tuesday, June 1, 2004.
Graveside services will be held at 9 a.m. Saturday at Resthaven Memorial Park. Arrangements by Ellis Funeral Home.
She was born in Stephens County. She was Baptist.
Survivors: Sons, Mike Roberts of Midland and Joe Dan Roberts of Fort Collins, Colo.; daughter, Patricia Sutton of Midland; 12 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

ALPINE - Apolinaria Garcia, 77, of Alpine, a retired cashier of the Sul Ross State University Cafι, died Wednesday, May 2, 2004, at a Midland hospital.
Rosary will be said at 7 p.m. today at Geeslin Funeral Home Chapel. Mass will be celebrated at 2 p.m. Saturday at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church with the Rev. Rick Ruiz officiating. Burial will be at Holy Angels cemetery. Arrangements are by Geeslin Funeral Home.
She was born in Terlingua and was a Catholic.
SURVIVORS: Son, Chon Garcia of Alpine; sisters, Maria Bermudez of Alpine, Isabel Soltero of Wink and Sabina Zamarron of El Paso; and two grandchildren.

KERMIT - Meta 'Tommy' Hoge, 87, of Kermit, a retired real estate insurer, died Thursday, May 27, 2004, in Odessa.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Zion Lutheran Church. Arrangements are by Family Services Funeral Parlor.
SURVIVORS: Son, Ron Hoge of Kermit; daughter, Beverly Bondy of Orange County, Calif.; 12 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.

ODESSA - Lana Kay Holcombe, 51, of Odessa, a floral designer, died Wednesday, May 26, 2004, at her residence.
Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. today at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jimmy Braswell officiating. Arrangements are by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
SURVIVORS: Husband, Delton Ray Holcombe of Odessa; sons, Shaun Christopher Duncan and Jason Lynn Thornhill, both of Odessa; brother, Ronnie Absher of Odessa; and one grandchild.

Laura Kennedy
IRAAN - Laura Elizabeth Kennedy, 97, of Iraan, died Wednesday, May 26, 2004, at the Crane Skilled Nursing and Rehab Center.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. today at Restland cemetery with the Rev. Clay Mason officiating. Arrangements are by Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Home.
She was born in Stephens County. She was a Baptist.
SURVIVORS: Sons, Floyd Kennedy of Carlsbad, N.M., and Weldon Kennedy of Crane; daughters, Pansy Smart of Iraan and Tiny Deubler of Eastland; 19 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; and 17 great great-grandchildren.

She was born in Sinton. She was a Catholic.
SURVIVORS: Husband, Johnny Joe Mata Sr. of Seminole; sons, Johnny Joe Mata Jr., Brian Mata and Jeremy Mata, all of Seminole; daughter, Debbie Webb of Milsap; brothers, Ray Alvarado, Joe Alvarado and Luis Alvarado, all of Seminole; sisters, Diana Ramirez and Sandra Ramirez, both of Seminole, and Anna Quintanilla of Austin; five grandchildren; and one step-granddaughter.

COLORADO CITY - Lora Philbrick, 91, of Colorado City, died Thursday, May 27, 2004, at a Colorado City hospital.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the 22nd and Austin Street Church of Christ with Kerry Cain and Royce Clay officiating. Burial will be at Colorado City cemetery. Arrangements are by Kiker-Seale Funeral Home.
She was born in Mitchell County and moved to Colorado City in 1992. She was a member of the 22nd and Austin Street Church of Christ.
SURVIVORS: Daughter, Judy Ritchey of Colorado City; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
