SEMINOLE - Ross E. Sweat, 61, of Seminole, a college professor, died Wednesday, May 26, 2004, at his residence.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at M.S. Doss Community Chapel with the Rev. Randy Bush officiating. Arrangements are by Ratliff Funeral Homes.
He was born in Brownwood. He was a rehabilitation counselor, supervisor and administrator for the State of New Mexico and was founder and chairman of the Gaines County Committee on People with Disabilities. He began Sweat Consulting in 1992.

ROSWELL, N.M. - Clifton 'Cliff' Lee Whittington, 42, of Roswell, a cabinetmaker, died Wednesday, May 26, 2004, at Eastern New Mexico Medical Center

He was born in McCamey and moved to Roswell in 2003 from Colorado. He was a member of the Mid-Cities Community Church in Midland.
