He was born in Coleman County.

STANTON — Clement R. Standefer, 80, of Big Spring, formerly of Stanton, died Tuesday, July 13, 2004, in Big Spring.
Military graveside services will be at 3 p.m. today at Dallas-Forth Worth National cemetery with Russell Driggers officiating. Arrangements are by Stanton Memorial Funeral Home and Chapel.
He was born in Colorado City and was an Army veteran of World War II.
