SEMINOLE — Pedro Neufeld Penner, 29, of Greenville, a siding contractor for First Exterior Designs, died Sunday, June 13, 2004, in Rockwell.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. today at Rienlanders Mennonite Church with Henry Reimer officiating. Burial will be in Gaines County cemetery South. Arrangements by Boyer Funeral Home.
He was born in Mexico.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Eva Penner of Greenville; son, Ricky Penner of Greenville; daughters, Lisa Penner and Eva Penner, both of Greenville; mother, Maria Penner of Seminole; grandparents, Maria Neufeld and Peter Neufeld, both of Mexico; brothers, Henry Penner and Abe Penner, both of Seminole, Jake Penner of Amarillo and John Penner of Forney; sisters, Marie Wiebe, Helen Klassen, Tina Fehr and Nita Penner, all of Seminole.

ODESSA — Amparo Espino Ortiz, 73, of Odessa, died Monday, June 14, 2004, in Odessa.

ODESSA — Sylvia Rodgers Porras, 49, of Odessa, died Tuesday, June 15, 2004, at Medical Center Hospital.
Services are pending with Martinez Funeral Home.

Ethel Bean
ODESSA — Ethel Mae Bean, 82, of Odessa, a retired medical technician for Medical Center Hospital, died Friday, June 11, 2004, at her residence.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. James Baptist Church with the Rev. R.T. McNeil officiating. Burial will be in Ector County cemetery. Arrangements are by Martinez Funeral Home.
She was born in Gonzales.
SURVIVORS: Sons, Leroy Bean and George Bean, both of Odessa; daughters, Larine Veail of Odessa, Berline Belcher of Hillsboro, and Leona Ruth Cooper of Giddens; brothers, G.V. Holmes of Anton, Johnnie Holmes and Billy Holmes, both of Terrell and Joe C. Holmes of Austin; sisters, Georgia Williams of Terrell, Ella V. Bright and Elvalina Holmes, both of Dallas and Christine Jackson of Midland; 37 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Rosary will be said at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Mass will be celebrated at 2 p.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church with the Rev. David Herrera officiating. Burial will be at Fort Stockton Catholic cemetery. Arrangements are by Memorial Funeral Home.
He was born in Mexico.
SURVIVORS: Sons, Luis Carrasco, Pedro Carrasco Jr., and Fidel Carrasco, all of Fort Stockton, Manuel Carrasco of Hobbs, N.M., and Ramon Carrasco of Mexico; daughter, Dulce Nombre Carrasco of Mexico; 42 grandchildren; 81 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.

James Clark
SEMINOLE — James Roy Clark, 72, of Whitesboro, died Friday, June 11, 2004, in Sherman.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at South Seminole Baptist Church with the Rev. Dan Dale officiating. Burial will be in Gaines County cemetery. Arrangements are by Boyer Funeral Home.
He was born in Shannon. He served in the Army and was a Baptist.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Linda Clark of Whitesboro; son, James Randal Clark of Austin; daughters, Vicki Lynn Bizzell of Midland and Carla Hicks of Seminole; brother, Odell Clark of Mineral Wells; sister, Wanda Clark of Weatherford; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

FORT STOCKTON — Gertrudis V. Garza, 99, of Tulare, Calif., a homemaker, died Thursday, June 10, 2004, in Tulare, Calif.

She was a Catholic.

Opal Gleaton
ODESSA — Opal Jo Gleaton, 88, of Odessa, a homemaker, died Sunday, June 13, 2004, at Hospice House.
Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are by Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors.
She was born in Comanche, She was a Methodist.
SURVIVORS: Sons, Joe Gleaton of Odessa and Bryan R. Gleaton of San Antonio; sister, Lois White of Odessa; brother, James Handlin of Hollywood, Fla.; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

ODESSA — Edwin “Bubba” Lee Graves, 48, of Odessa, a mechanic, died Saturday, June 12, 2004, at Hospice House.

MIDLAND — Julian Lee Hudgins, 43, of Midland, a substance abuse counselor, died Saturday, June 12, 2004, in Midland.
Memorial services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Kelview Heights Baptist Church with the Rev. Jerry Berry officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Ellis Funeral Home.
He was born in Snyder. He came to Midland from Argentina.
