KERMIT — Bernice Jerlene Kilgore, 85, of Kermit, a retired school teacher, died Sunday, July 18, 2004, in Odessa.
Wake services will be held from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday at West Side Church of Christ. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at East Side Church of Christ with Joddie Garrett officiating. Burial will be at Kermit cemetery. Arrangements by Family Services Funeral Parlor.
She was born in Troup.
SURVIVORS: Husband, B.B. “Buck” Kilgore of Kermit; son, Mike “Bullet” Kilgore of Kermit; daughter, Judy Kilgore of Austin; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Hugh Nixon
ODESSA — Hugh Nixon, 77, of Odessa, died Sunday, July 18, 2004, at Hospice House.
Services will be at a later date. Burial will be at Springhill cemetery in Springhill, Ark. Arrangements by Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway, Ark.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Lottie Nixon of Odessa; sons, Allen Nixon of Ohio and John Nixon of Odessa; and daughter, Pamela Cherry of Odessa.

Martha Soto
PECOS — Martha Soto, 57, of Pecos, a homemaker, died Saturday, July 17, 2004, at Reeves County Hospital in Pecos.
Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Assemblia Apostolica. Burial will be at Greenwood cemetery. Arrangements by Peaceful Garden Funeral Home.
She was born in San Carlos, Chihuahua, Mexico. She was Apostolic.
SURVIVORS: Husband, Celedonio Soto; sons, Omar Soto and Auden Soto, both of Pecos; daughters, Julie Soto, Luz Villescas and Morayma Baeza, all of Pecos; brothers, Margarito Garcia and Lorenzo Garcia; sisters, Wenceslada Garcia and Valentina Gonzales; and seven grandchildren.

Willard Turner
ANDREWS — Willard H. “George” Turner, 88, of Andrews, a retired driller for Norwood Drilling, died Sunday, July 18, 2004, at Permian Residential Care Center in Andrews.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Andrews Old cemetery with the Rev. Jeff Donnell officiating. Arrangements by McNett Funeral Home.
He was born in Wood County. He was Baptist.
SURVIVORS: Sons, Conrad Turner of Odessa and Alan Turner of
Plano; daughters, Dian Whittington of Mineola and Phyllis Duncan of Frederick, Md.; sister, Maida Lindburg of St. Paul, Minn.; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

James Walker
ODESSA — James Harrell Walker, 76, of Odessa, a retired accountant, died Sunday, July 18, 2004, at his residence.
Services will be at a later date. Arrangements by Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors.
He was born in Archer City. He served in the Army.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Kay Walker of Odessa; son, Raymond Rambo of Longview; and one grandson.

ODESSA — Billie Love, 77, of Odessa, died Monday, July 19, 2004, in Garland.
Services are pending
with Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.

Estelle Babcock
ODESSA - Estelle Faye Babcock, 61, of Odessa, a homemaker, died Saturday, July 17, 2004, at Medical Center Hospital.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Belmont Baptist Church. Arrangements by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
She was Baptist.
SURVIVORS: Daughter, Sonya Babcock; sisters, Sandy DeMoss and Patricia Sisson, both of Odessa.

Dolorez Garcia
ODESSA - Dolorez G. Garcia, 89, of Marathon, a homemaker, died Saturday, July 17, 2004, at Deerings Nursing Home.
Mass will be held at 11 a.m. today at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Marathon with the Rev. Michael Alcuino officiating. Burial will follow at Marathon cemetery. Arrangements by Odessa Funeral Home
She was born in Boquillas, Texas.
SURVIVORS: Sons, Arturo Garcia of Odessa and Manuel Garcia of Midland; daughters, Mary Mitchell of Odessa and Grace Fierro of Arlington; and 14 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.

Louise Hanson
ODESSA - Louise May Scott Hanson, 86, of Odessa, a former employee of Ruthco, died Friday, July 16, 2004.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. today at Rose Hill cemetery in Odessa. Arrangements by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
SURVIVORS: Daughters, Sharon Branam and Judy Creech, both of Odessa; Ruth Layman of Wasilla, Alaska; and Rochelle Goodwin of Houston; sister, Lucille Marshall of Chadron, Neb.; and eight grandchildren.

Gene Irwin
ANDREWS - Gene Irwin, 83, of Andrews, a rancher and a farmer, died Saturday, July 17, 2004, in Andrews.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Means Memorial United Methodist Church with the Rev. Dr. Brian Gordon officiating. Burial will follow in the Andrews Old cemetery Arrangements by McNett Funeral Home.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was Methodist.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Hedy Irwin of Andrews; son Doug Irwin of Andrews; daughters, Susan Irwin Watts of Kerrville, and Lee Ann Ballew of Andrews; and six grandchildren

ODESSA - Madie Belle Wilson, 87, a homemaker, of Odessa, died Saturday, July 17, 2004, at her residence.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Hubbard-Kelly Chapel with the Revs. Phil Sanders and Don Swindle. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens with the Rev. John Van Hoose officiating. Arrangements by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
She was a member of Bethel Assembly of God Church.
SURVIVORS: Daughters, Joyce Stump of Gillette, Wyo., and Gracie Willis of Odessa; and 10 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

MIDLAND - Francisca Portilla Zuniga, 83, a homemaker, died Saturday July 17, 2004.

She was born in Grand Falls.
