She was born in Gustine. She was a Baptist.

SANFORD, Fla. — Walter “Buddy” Lewis Gaines III, 63, of Sanford, Fla., a retired employee of the construction industry and restaurant business, died Sunday, July 4, 2004, in Sanford, Fla.
A remembrance will be held at noon Friday at 122 Hays Ave.

FORT DAVIS — Hortancio “Ardy” Prado, 72, of Fort Davis, a retired employee for Alpine Independent School District, died Sunday, July 4, 2004, at Odessa Medical Hospital.
Rosary will be said at 7 p.m. today at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday at the church with the Rev. Mike Alcuino officiating. Burial will be at St. Joseph’s cemetery. Arrangements are by Geeslin Funeral Home in Alpine.

He was born in Cisco. He served in the Army and he was a Baptist.
