He was born in Greenwood, La., and moved to Odessa 41 years ago from Fort Worth. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He was Baptist.

BERNICE, La. -- Britton Rea, 79, of Bernice, La., died Tuesday, April 14, 1998, in El Dorado, Ark., after a lengthy illness.

He was born in Dubach, La. and was a former resident of Kermit.
