FORT STOCKTON - Patty Jane Kincaid, 41, of Fort Stockton, died Saturday,
Aug. 21, 2004.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. today at Memorial Funeral Chapel. Burial will be at East Hill cemetery. Arrangements are by Memorial Funeral Home.
She was born in Walton County, Fla.
SURVIVORS: Sons, Jason Lane Kincaid and Zachary Ray Kincaid, both of Lubbock; and sisters, Gail Reeves and Pam Galvan, both of Fort Stockton and Sherry Prieskorn and Selina Mora, both of Midland.

Flora Montes
ODESSA - Flora Montes, 78, died Sunday, Aug. 22, 2004, at Medical Center Hospital.
Mass will be at a later date in Chihuahua, Mexico. Arrangements are by Funeraria Miranda and Martinez Funeral Home.
She was born in San Antonio Del Bravo, Mexico. She was Catholic.
SURVIVORS: Daughters, Gloria Pena of Cleburne and Amalia Ramirez of Odessa; sons, Hector Manuel Montes, Jose Luis Montes, Miguel Angel Montes, Jesus Antonio Montes, Javier Eduardo Montes and Jorge Arturo Montes, all of Chihuahua; sisters, Leonor Tagle of Mexico and Manuela Montes of Chihuahua; 27 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

Zack Scott
MIDLAND - Zack W. Scott, 87, of Midland, a retired employee of Phillips Petroleum, died Friday, Aug. 20, 2004.
Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. today at Manor Park Chapel with the Rev. Jimmy Braswell officiating. Arrangements are by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
He was born in Coryell County.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Nona of Midland; sons, Ken Scott of Dallas, Abe Scott of Goldsmith and Charles Scott of Houston; sister, Sue Beard of Odessa; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Juana Quintana
PECOS - Juana Acosta Quintana, 81, a homemaker, died Sunday, Aug. 22, 2004, at Medical Center Hospital.
Rosary will be said at 7 p.m. today at Peaceful Gardens Funeral Home in Pecos. Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Santa Rosa Catholic Church with the Rev. Gustavo Lopez officiating. Burial will be at Mount Evergreen cemetery. Arrangements are by Martinez Funeral Home.
She was born in Shafter.
SURVIVORS: Brother, Jose Acosta Quintana of Odessa; and sisters, Angelita Olivas of Odessa and Mercedes Ornelas and Selestina Rubio, both of Pecos.

ODESSA - Rogelio “Roger” Bernal Cruz, 31, of Odessa, died Sunday, Aug. 22, 2004, in Yucca Valley, Calif.

ODESSA - Rodolfo Lujan, 28, of Odessa, died Monday, Aug. 23, 2004, at Regency Hospital.

Edna Bales
EULA — Edna Estelline Bales, 77, of Eula, a homemaker, died Friday, Aug. 20, 2004, at an Abilene hospital.
Services will be at 10 a.m. today at Bailey Chapel in Clyde with the Rev. Clayton Pennington officiating. Arrangements by Bailey Funeral Home.
She was born in Nacogdoches, and moved to Eula in 1973. She was Baptist.
SURVIVORS: Husband, Harry Bales of Eula; sons, Wesley Bales and Chuck Bales both of Abilene, and Patrick Hill of Eula; daughters, Glenda Collins of Odessa, and Linda Dagen of Houston; brothers, Donald McCuistion of Cordell, Okla., and Perry McCuistion of Altus, Okla.; sisters, Barbara Hughes of Antlers, Okla., and Lillian Briseno of Altus, Okla.; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Edgar Blair
MONAHANS — Edgar Leon Blair, 93, of Monahans, a retired mechanic for Exxon, died Saturday, Aug. 21, 2004, at Ward Memorial Hospital in Monahans.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Heritage Funeral Chapel with John Bell officiating. Burial will be in Kermit cemetery. Arrangements by Heritage Funeral Home.
He was born in Fort Worth, and was a member of the Church of Latter-Day Saints. He served in the Navy.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Evelyn Blair of Monahans; daughters, Marlene Terry Coleman of Pecos, and Venetia Terry Hitch of Las Vegas, Nev.; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Hazel Brock
KERMIT — Hazel Leota Brock, 91, of Kermit, a retired junior high school counselor, died Sunday, Aug. 22, 2004, at her residence.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today at First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Loren Gardner officiating. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Chillicothe cemetery in Chillicothe. Arrangements by Family Services Funeral Parlor of Kermit.
She was born in Timpson.
SURVIVORS: Daughter, Celia Bolf of Kermit; brothers, Alton Bogard of Midwest City, Okla., and Herschel Bogard of Birmingham, Ala.; sisters, Lois Poissoit of Conroe, and Stella Sims of Grand Prairie; five grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

BIG SPRING — Cortez B. Garrett, 96, of Big Spring, a former employee of Sears Roebuck and Co., died Saturday, Aug. 21, 2004, in Big
Spring.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 24 at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home Chapel with Lynn Money will officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
She was born Baird. She was a member of the Church of Christ.
SURVIVORS: Daughter, Joy Glaser of Big Spring, and Lucille Poindexter of Fresno, Calif.; brothers, Jim Mack Burkett of Odonnell and Joe L. Burkett of Angleton; sisters, Wilda Taylor of Portales, N.M., and Katie Allen of Odonnell; 20 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren; and 20 great-great-grandchildren.

J.C. Holland
DENVER CITY — J.C. “Jake” Holland, 79, of Denver City, owner of H & S Implement & Salvage, died Friday, Aug. 20, 2004, in Lubbock.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at First Baptist Church with Bob Fred officiating. Burial will be in Gaines County cemetery in Seminole. Arrangements by Ratliff Funeral Home of Denver City.
He was born in De Leon, and was in the Army.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Lois Holland of Denver City; sons, Walter Holland of Pecos, and Steven Holland of Dahlonega, Ga.; daughters, Elizabeth Brown of Seminole, and Nona Banks of Denver City; 11 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Mary Reynolds
ODESSA — Mary Jane Reynolds, 77, of Odessa, died Saturday, Aug. 21, 2004, in Midland.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday with Dennis Dillon officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.
SURVIVORS: Son, Danny Max Reynolds of Austin, daughters, Connie Parrott of Lake Jackson, and Debbie Willson of Midland, sister, Patsy Dial of Garland, six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

She was born in Gilliam, La.
