SARAGOSA — William Wendt, 65, of Saragosa, a paramedic, died Tuesday, Aug. 17, 2004, at Reeves County Hospital.
Memorial services will be held at 4 p.m. today at Pecos Funeral Home Chapel and at 10 a.m. Saturday at Seventh Day Adventist Church. Burial will be at Balmorhea cemetery. Arrangements are by Pecos Funeral Home.
He was born in Sutton, Neb.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Hazel Wendt of Saragosa; sons, Scott Wendt of Rincon, Ga., Shawn Wendt of Hastings, Neb., and William Wendt of Saragosa; daughters, Kara Miller of Pullman, Mich., Maria Ramirez of Collage Place, Wash., and Willina Stone of Saragosa; mother, Ina Wendt of Hastings, Neb.; brother, Warren Wendt; sister, Delene Wendt of Hastings, Neb.; 11 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

ODESSA — Floy Garrett, 82, of Canton, died Tuesday, Aug. 17, 2004, at Heritage Manor.
Services are pending with Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors.

SARAGOSA — Leticia Muniz, 34, of Saragosa, died Tuesday, Aug. 17, 2004, at Reeves County Hospital.
Services are pending with Peaceful Garden Funeral Home.

Mary Allbright
ODESSA — Mary Love Walker Allbright, 79, of Odessa, a retired educator, died Tuesday, Aug. 17, 2004.
Graveside services will be at 9 a.m. Saturday at Sunset Memorial Gardens. A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at First United Methodist Church. Arrangements are by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
She was born in Loraine. She was Methodist.
SURVIVORS: Son, Gordon Allbright of Odessa; daughter, Jeanie Finn of Odessa; sister, Jean Kegans of Arlington; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

James Arnold
ODESSA — James Douglas “J.D.” Arnold, 58, of Odessa, an area field manager for U-Haul Rentals, died Sunday, Aug. 15, 2004, at Home Hospice.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. today at Rose Hill cemetery with the Rev. Dick Brown officiating. Arrangements are by Odessa Funeral Home.
He was born in Houston. He was in the Navy and was Baptist.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Linda Kay Arnold of Odessa; sons, James Thomas Arnold of Beaumont and Charles Russel Folley of Odessa; daughter, Misty Marie Folley of Odessa; and eight grandchildren.

Joe Martinez
FORT STOCKTON - Joe Anthony Martinez, 33, of Fort Stockton, died Tuesday, Aug. 17, 2004, at Medical Center Hospital.
Rosary will be said at 7 p.m. today at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the church with the Rev. Floro Hinacay officiating. Burial will be at Fort Stockton Catholic cemetery. Arrangements are by Memorial Funeral Home.
He was born in Fort Stockton.
SURVIVORS: Son, Adrian Martinez of Midland; daughter, Chelsea Martinez of Midland; parents, Jose and Maria Martinez of Fort Stockton; brothers, Oscar Martinez, Marcos Martinez and Isacc Martinez, all of Fort Stockton and Eric Martinez of Kermit; and sisters, Jo Ann Sarabia and Myra Martinez, both of Midland.

ODESSA — Jessie Ellen Mindel, 88, of Odessa, died Tuesday, Aug. 17, 2004, at Medical Center Hospital.
Memorial services will be at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at First Christian Church with the Rev. Dr. Tommy Potter officiating. Arrangements are by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
She was born in Iowa Park.
SURVIVORS: Sons, Wilbur Jess Mindel of Cincinnati and David Mindel of Odessa; daughter, Jeanene Taylor of Odessa; sisters, Lois Leslie of Iowa Park and Evelyn Jennings of Sweetwater; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

FORT STOCKTON - L.H. Patterson, 66, of Fort Stockton, a superintendent of a drilling company, died Tuesday, Aug. 17, 2004, in Fort Stockton.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Fort Stockton Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. A.D. Jackson officiating. Burial will be at East Hill cemetery. Arrangements are by Fort Stockton Funeral Home.
He was born in Fort Stockton. He was in the Army and was Baptist.

KALEVA, Mich. — Ronald Delbert Venne Sr., 70, of Odessa, a retired janitor, died Friday, Aug. 13, 2004, at Sienna Care Center.

He was born in Muskegon, Mich.

Bennie Williams
RIVERDALE, Ga. — Bennie Williams, 74, of Andrews, died Sunday, Aug. 8, 2004, at Marietta Health and Rehabilitation Center in Marietta, Ga.
Memorial services were Wednesday in the home of Felita Williams-Morgan.
He was born in Atlanta, Ga.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Billie J. Williams of Andrews; sons, Crawford Williams of Midland, Glen Williams of Dallas, Billy Jo Dixon of Andrews and Archie L. Williams of Stockbridge, Ga.; daughters, Connie D. ODESSA — Dora Marjory Braswell Wilson, 78, of Odessa, a homemaker, died Sunday, Aug. 15, 2004, at Medical Center Hospital.

She was born in Douglas, Ariz.
SURVIVORS: Husband, Max Wilson of Odessa; son, Max Wilson of Tulsa, Okla.; daughter, Mia Gibson of Odessa; brother, Richard Braswell of Indianapolis; sister, Sue Braswell; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

MCCAMEY - Raymond M. Casias Sr., 77, of Lamesa, a farm foreman, died Sunday, Aug. 15, 2004, in a Lamesa Nursing Home.
Wake services will be at 7 p.m. today at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the church. Burial will be at Resthaven cemetery. Arrangements are by Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Home.
He was born in Rossville. He was Catholic.

She was born in Washington, Ark. She was a Jehovah Witness.
SURVIVORS: Sons, Ivan Logan of Midland, Amber Logan Jr. of Denver, Colo., and Eugene Logan of Aurora, Colo.; daughters, Mary Cooper of Gardendale, Velma Byrd of Denver, Colo.; and Arlene Nichols of Odessa; 30 grandchildren; 65 great-grandchildren; and 16 great-great-grandchildren.
