ODESSA -- Lee Author Jennings, 78, of Odessa, died Monday, April 13, 1998, at Medical Center Hospital.

Services are pending with Martinez Funeral Home.

Carolyn Beaver

GAINESVILLE -- Carolyn Beaver, 55, of Gainesville, an employee of Brooks Brothers, died Saturday, April 11, 1998, at Gainesville Memorial Hospital.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Westminster Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Don Darling officiating. Burial will be at Fairview cemetery. Arrangements by Geo J. Caroll & Son Funeral Home.

She was born in Gainesville and moved to Gainesville in 1991 from Odessa. She was Presbyterian.

SURVIVORS: Parents, Cecil and Katheryn Wyrick of Gainesville; daughter, Yvette Sampson of Austin; son, Shane Beaver of Gainesville; brother, J.B. "Barry" Wyrick of Gainesville; and sister, Cecilia Peck of Houston.

William DeHay

BROWNWOOD -- William David DeHay, 56, of Brownwood, an oil field worker, died Saturday, April 11, 1998, at Shannon Medical Center in San Angelo.

Services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Davis-Morris Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Cal Gray officiating. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Odessa. Arrangements by Davis-Morris Funeral Home.

He was born in Brownwood. He was an Army veteran. He was Baptist.

SURVIVORS: Father and step-mother, CC and Aurelia DeHay of Odessa; mother, Rheta Mae Hester-DeHay of Brownwood; son, Michael David DeHay of Odessa; daughters, Deanna Kay Nelson of Roswell, N.M., and Delinda Carol Huelster of Odessa; and eight grandchildren.

Linda Faulkner

PECOS -- Linda Carpenter Faulkner, 53, of Pecos, a teacher for Pecos-Barstow-Toyah Independent School District, died Sunday, April 12, 1998, at Sierra Medical Center in El Paso.

Services will be held at 4 p.m. Wednesday at First United Methodist Church. Burial will be at Mount Evergreen cemetery. Arrangements by Pecos Funeral Home.

She was born in El Paso and had lived in Pecos since 1946. She was Methodist.

SURVIVORS: Husband, Bobby Faulkner of Pecos; daughter, April June Hinojos of Kileen; parents, A.J. and Marion Carpenter of Pecos; sister, Nancy Tyler of El Paso; and one grandchild.

Yolanda Najar

MONAHANS -- Yolanda Najar, 46, of Monahans, a home provider, died Sunday, April 12, 1998, at Medical Center Hospital in Odessa.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Bethel Baptist Church with the Rev. Gordon Cox officiating. Burial will be at Monahans Memorial cemetery. Arrangements by Harkey Funeral Home.

She was born in Marfa and had lived in Monahans since 1975. She was Baptist.

SURVIVORS: Husband, Joe Najar of Monahans; sons, Israel Najar, Chris Najar, Joel Najar and Daniel Najar, all of Monahans; daughter, Sherry Najar of Monahans; brothers, Leon Cash Jr. and Arthur Cash, both of Marfa, Tommy Cash of Fort Stockton and Manuel Cash of Monahans; sisters, Mary Ella Cash of Marfa, Pauline Martinez, Bonnie Contreras and Carmen Zavala, all of Monahans, and Karen Najar of Dallas.

Elodia Martinez

MCCAMEY -- Elodia Lujan Martinez, 61, of McCamey, died Monday, April 13, 1998, at Memorial Hospital in Midland.

Services are pending with Richard W. Box Funeral Homes.

Adela Abalos

RANKIN -- Adela Abalos, 50, died Saturday, April 11, 1998, at Midland Memorial Hospital.

Mass will be celebrated at 3 p.m. Tuesday at the Rankin Park Building with the Rev. Barry McLean officiating. Burial will be at Rankin cemetery. Arrangements made by Richard W. Box Funeral Home.

She was born Oct. 3, 1947, in Pecos County. She was Catholic.

Survivors: Son, Mark Abalos of Rankin; mother, Anita Flores of Crane; mother-in-law, Juanita Abalos of Rankin; brothers, Adan Flores and Benito Flores, both of Odessa, Oscar Flores of Midland and Reynaldo Flores of Houston.

Travis Budge

LEANDER -- Travis C. Budge, 67, a retired AMOCO production foreman, died Sunday, April 12, 1998, at his residence.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Bagdad cemetery. Arrangements made by Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors.

He was born Jan. 14, 1931, in Somerset. He had lived in Odessa since 1948. He was Methodist.

Survivors: Wife, Paulene Budge of Odessa; sons, Steve Budge of Midland and Joel Budge of Georgetown; father, George W. Budge of Leander; sister, Wanda Rice of Leander; eight grandchildren.

Hattie Pruitt

FORT DAVIS -- Hattie Muriel Pruitt, 78, died Saturday, April 11, 1998, in Midland Memorial Hospital after a lengthy illness.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Church of Christ. Burial will follow at Hillcrest cemetery. Arrangements made by Geeslin Funeral Home.

She was born in Maryneal on Feb. 14, 1920. She was a Church of Christ member.

Survivors: Daughter, Debbie Poe of Sanderson; and son, M.L. Pruitt Jr. of Fort Davis; three grandchildren.

Medrith Rowell

ODESSA -- Medrith Rowell, 75, died Saturday, April 11, 1998, at Medical Center Hospital.

Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Clydel Chapman officiating.

She was born Nov. 7, 1923, in Eldorado, Ark., and she was Baptist.

Survivors: Husband, Otha Rowell of Odessa; son, Doc Rowell of Cohoma; daughter, Twilla Dundick of Odessa; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Alecia Belis

ODESSA -- Alecia Belis, 63, of Kermit, died Sunday, April 12, 1998, at Medical Center Hospital.

R.L. Bowman

STEPHENVILLE -- R.L. 'Bo' Bowman, 70, a former Odessa resident and retired Schlumberger employee, died Thursday, April 9, 1998, at Harris Methodist Hospital.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at the Lacy Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Bobby Baggett and Glen Bowman officiating. Burial will be at Gardens of Memory. Arrangements made by Lacy Funeral Home.
He was born April 29, 1927, in Meridian.
He was Methodist and a World War II Navy veteran.
Survivors: Wife, Nelda Bowman of Stephenville; sons, Steven Kent Bowman of Durham, N.C., and Stanley Clent Bowman of Alpine; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
