MONAHANS — Gertrude Edwards, 75, of Monahans, a homemaker, died Saturday, Sept. 4, 2004, at Medical Center Hospital.
Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church with the Rev. Mike Fickenscher officiating. Arrangements are by Heritage Funeral Home.
She was born in New York City. She was Lutheran.
SURVIVORS: Sons, Danny Edwards of Phoenix and John Edwards of Kansas; brother, Emil Mylius of New York; sister, Mildred Rokoserie of New York; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Billye Hillman
SEMINOLE — Billye Hillman, 74, of Seminole, died Tuesday, Sept. 14, 2004, at Seminole Memorial Hospital.
Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. Friday at Lamesa Memorial cemetery with the Rev. Mary Gregory officiating. Arrangements are by Boyer Funeral Home.
She was born in Lamesa. She was Methodist.
SURVIVORS: Husband, Glenn Hillman of Seminole; brother, Oquin Meyers of Tulsa, Okla.; sister, Doris Smith of Lamesa; and one grandson.

ODESSA — Karen R. Poynor, 57, of Odessa, died Monday, Sept. 13, 2004, at Memorial Hermann Southeast in Houston.
Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Lutheran Church of the Risen Lord with the Rev. Chris Connar officiating.
She was born in Nampa, Idaho.
SURVIVORS: Husband, Steve Poynor; mother, Gloria Peterson of Meridian, Idaho; sons, Shane Jenson of Irving, Jarod Jenson of Pearland, Travis Jenson of Spring and Joe Poynor of San Antonio; daughter, Jennifer Martin of Stonewall; brother, Dale Peterson of Nampa; and four grandchildren.

PECOS — Lucille Beatrice Ross, 92, of Pecos, a retired gift shop owner, died Sunday, Sept. 12, 2004, in Maricopa, Ariz.
Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Pecos Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Dr. James R. Miles officiating. Burial will be at Mount Evergreen cemetery. Arrangements are by Pecos Funeral Home.
She was born in Balmorhea. She was Presbyterian.
SURVIVORS: Daughter, Harriet Johnson of Maricopa; brother, Kenneth Stroade; sisters, Anna Mae Reynolds and Jane Dean; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Manuela Alarcon
BARSTOW - Manuela D. Alarcon, 63, of Barstow, a homemaker, died Monday, Sept. 13, 2004, at Reeves County Hospital in Pecos.
Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. today at Santa Rosa Catholic Church. Burial will be at Barstow cemetery. Arrangements are by Peaceful Garden Funeral Home of Pecos.
She was born in Grandfalls. She was Catholic.
SURVIVORS: Sons, David Wayne Ramirez and Edgar Alarcon, both of Odessa; brothers, Benjamine Dominguez of Grandfalls and Fernando Dominguez of Midland; sister, Maria Corralws; and three grandchildren.

ANDREWS - David L. Davis, 57, of Early, died Tuesday, Sept. 14, 2004, in Brownwood.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Andrews Old cemetery with Morris Courville officiating. Arrangements are by McNett Funeral Home.

CLYDE - Edd Ross 'Eddie' Farmer, 69, of Clyde, a retired professional educator, died Sunday, Sept. 12, 2004, at his residence.

He was born in Leamington, Ontario, Canada. He was Baptist.

He was born in Monahans. He served in the Navy.

He was born in El Paso. He served in the Army and was Methodist.
