MIDLAND — Nicanor Dominguez Martinez, 80, of Midland, a baker, died Thursday, Sept. 9, 2004, at a local hospital.
Mass will be celebrated at 7:30 p.m. today at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with the Rev. Gilbert Rodriguez officiating. Graveside services will be at 9 a.m. Saturday at Resthaven North. Arrangements are by Pipkin Funeral Home.
He was born in Balleza, Chihuahua, Mexico.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Hortencia Martinez of Midland; sons, Ricardo Martinez of Odessa, Mario Martinez, Nicanor Martinez Jr. and Moises Martinez, all of Midland, Octavio Martinez of San Antonio, Pedro Martinez of Cozumel, Mexico, and Nicandro Martinez and Ruben Martinez, both of Ojinaga, Chihuahua, Mexico; daughters, Maria de Rosario Duran of Ojinaga and Hortencia Pullian of San Diego; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

ANDREWS — Gerry Powell, 53, of Odessa, a truck driver for Navajo Shippers, died Tuesday, Sept. 7, 2004.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today at McNett Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Robert Condren officiating. Burial will be at Andrews North cemetery. Arrangements are by McNett Funeral Home.
He was born in Fresno, Calif.
SURVIVORS: Sons, Gary D. Powell of Odessa and Michael Ray Powell of Hays, Kan.; parents, Ruth Powell of Odessa and Gradie Powell of Bakersfield, Calif.; brother, Mickey Powell of Bakersfield; sister, Shirley Custer of Fresno; and three grandchildren.

Dovie Fair
STRAWN - Dovie Azlee 'Lee' Fair, 68, of Strawn, died Sunday, Sept. 5, 2004, at a Fort Worth hospital.
Services were at 11 a.m. Wednesday at First Baptist Church with the Rev. Jim Troutman officiating. Burial was at Mount Marion cemetery. Arrangements were by Edwards Funeral Home in Strawn.
She was born in Springtown.
SURVIVORS: Daughters, Linda Branum of Odessa, Mary Crawford, May Belle Fair and Dovie Withers, all of Strawn, Millie Richardson of De Leon and Patty Lingle of Corsicana; sons, Martin Lingle of Johnson City and Andy Lingle of Strawn; brothers, Jerry Neely of Balzoria, John Neely of Colleyville and Herbert Neely of Lake Worth; sisters, Wanetta Vess of Springtown, Blanche Stauzenberger of Reno and Mary Low Caywood of Burkburnett; 18 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

FORT DAVIS - Ruth M. Garrett, 88, of Fort Davis, died Tuesday, Sept. 7, 2004, at an Alpine hospital.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Hillcrest cemetery with Charles L. 'Chuck' Cobb officiating. Arrangements are by Geeslin Funeral Home.
She was born in Fort Worth and had been a resident of the area for the past 46 years. She had worked as a secretary for the National Parks Service and had also been employed by the Boy Scouts of America. She was a member of the Church of Christ.
SURVIVORS: Daughter, Cecilia G. Davis of Fort Davis; sisters, Mary Lue Stephens of Norman, Okla., and Helen Williams of Oklahoma City; a grandson; and two great-grandchildren.

Kenneth Lane
ODESSA - Kenneth Royce Lane, 67, of Odessa, a truck driver for Holloman Construction Co. for more than 25 years, died Tuesday, Sept. 7, 2004, at Odessa Regional Hospital.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Don Caywood officiating. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
He was in Diboll.
SURVIVORS: Sons, Jeff Lane of Odessa and Kenny Lane of Midland; daughters, Rhonda Harris and Vickie Rose, both of San Antonio, and Wendy Alexander of New Orleans; brothers, Johnny Lane of Christoval and Sony Lane of Fort Worth; sisters, Mary Joyce Bryant of Conroe and Murry Landrum of Fort Worth; 16 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Viviana Lujan
JAL, N.M. - Viviana Lujan, 17, of Jal, N.M., a senior student at Jal High School, died Sunday, Sept. 5, 2004, in Jal, New Mexico.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. MDT today at Jal High School Auditorium with the Rev. Valentine Jankowski officiating. Burial will be at Jal cemetery. Arrangements are by Calvary Funeral Home of Eunice.
She was born in Kermit.
SURVIVORS: Parents, Arturo and Socorro Lujan of Jal; brothers: Ricardo Lujan of Odessa, Arturo Lujan Jr. and Andres Lujan, both of Jal.

Bonnie Percy
MIDLAND - Bonnie Fern Brigance Percy, 83, of Midland, a retired employee of the Union Pacific Railroad, died Saturday, Sept. 4, 2004, at Semper Care Hospital in Midland.
Services will be at 11 a.m. at the First United Methodist Church Glass Chapel with the Rev. William McReynolds officiating. Burial will be at Resthaven Memorial Park. Arrangements are by Ellis Funeral Home.
She was born in Howard County and moved to Midland in 1979. She was Methodist.
SURVIVORS: Son, Clarence Percy III of Odessa; daughter, Donna Potter of Midland; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.

ODESSA - Martin C. Salazar, 44, of Odessa, a derrick hand in the oilfield industry, died Monday, Sept. 6, 2004, at his residence.
Rosary will be said at 7 p.m. today at Odessa Funeral Home Chapel. Mass be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home with the Rev. Joseph Uecker officiating. Burial will be at Rose Hill cemetery. Arrangements are by Odessa Funeral Home.
He was born in El Paso. He was Catholic.
SURVIVORS: Daughter, Wendy Lee Salazar of Bakersfield, Calif.; brothers, Raymundo Salazar Jr. of San Diego, Juan Ramon Salazar of Midland, Christopher Patrick Salazar of Dallas and Jesse Gene Salazar of Pecos; sisters, Gloria S. He was born in Mexico. He was a Catholic.

ODESSA — Beulah Mae Broussard, 81, of Odessa, past owner of College Drug, Post Office Drug and Village Lawnmower Supply, died Tuesday, Sept. 7, 2004, in Lubbock.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Sunset Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Don Fankhauser officiating. Arrangements are by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
She was born in Muskogee, Okla.

She was born in East Orange, N.J.
SURVIVORS: Son, James Lucas of Odessa; daughters, Pamela Benavidez of Odessa and Eleanor Rodriquez of Newark, N.J.; and two grandchildren.

ODESSA — Marguerite R. Lytell, 95, of Odessa, died Sunday, Sept. 5, 2004, at her residence.

She was born in Atlanta.

SEMINOLE — Pedro Ogeda Sr., 87, of Seminole, a farm laborer, died Monday, Sept. 6, 2004, at Memorial Health Care Center.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at South Seminole Baptist Church with the Revs. Jaun Caderon, David Caballero and Raul Caballero officiating. Burial will be at Gaines County cemetery. Arrangements are by Boyer Funeral Home.
He was born in Fairfield. He served in the Army and was a Baptist.
SURVIVORS: Son, Pedro Ogeda Jr. of Seminole; daughters, Rachel Ibarra of Burnet, Lupe Velasquez of Hobbs, N.M., and Norberta Salinas and Dolores Lopez, both of Abernathy; brother, Roberto Ogeda of Terrel, Okla.; sisters, Juanita Ramirez and Jhovita Ogeda, both of Olton; 22 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; and seven step-great-grandchildren.

ODESSA — Stormi ShyAnn Tucker, infant daughter of Victor Wesley Tucker and Shannon Teresa Gillian, died Friday, Sept. 3, 2004, at Medical Center Hospital.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. today at Sunset Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Jeff Cleere officiating. Arrangements are by Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.
She was born in Odessa.
