Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Grace Fellowship Church with the Rev. Mark Bristow officiating. Burial will be at Monahans Memorial cemetery.
He was born in Monahans. He was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War.

Mariana Munoz Sotelo
ODESSA - Mariana Munoz Sotelo, 79, of Odessa, passed away Monday, November 8, 2004, at Medical Center Hospital. She was born May 4, 1925, in Marfa, Texas, to Pedro and Juana Vasquez Sotelo. In 1945, in Marfa, Texas, she united in marriage to Jose G. Sotelo and to this unification were born six children. She was a Christian Catholic and a retired housekeeper from the housekeeping department at Medical Center Hospital.
Mrs. Sotelo was preceded in death by her husband, Jose G. Sotelo Sr.; son, Jose Sotelo Jr.; parents; two brothers, Pedro and Jose Munoz; and grandson, John John Razo.
She is survived by three sons, Chon Sotelo of Odessa, Alvaro Sotelo of Marina Del Rey, California, and Tony Pacheco of Martinez, California; two daughters, Lillian Garza of Odessa and Viola Razo of Marfa, TX; sister, Catherine Calanche of Marfa, TX; 16 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild; several nieces, nephews and cousins; and lots of friends.
Rosary will be recited on Wednesday and Thursday, November 10 and 11, 2004, at 7 p.m. at Odessa Funeral Home Chapel. Mass will be celebrated at 2 p.m. Friday November 12, 2004, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church with Reverend Joseph Uecker officiating. Interment to follow at Rose Hill cemetery

He was born in Stamford. He served in the Navy.
