Maurine Williams
BRECKENRIDGE — Maurine Williams, 90, of Odessa, passed away Friday, Oct. 1, 2004, at Parks Methodist Retirement Village. She was born March 1, 1914, in Aubrey, Texas.
Mrs. Williams moved to Odessa in 1947, from Nocona, Texas. She was a homemaker and a member of Eisenhower Church Of Christ.
She is survived by her daughter, Sharon Bell and husband Lee Roy of Odessa; brothers, Clyde Coker and wife Eva of Tucson, Ariz., and Ernest Coker and wife Norma of Arlington, Texas; two grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ike Williams, in 1980; daughter, Royce Diane Willliams; and her parents, Frank and Mattie Coker.
There was a visitation from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 2, 2004, at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 5, 2004, at the Breckenridge cemetery in Breckenridge with Church Of Christ minister Bobby Williams officiating.

Richard G. Dietz Sr.
ODESSA — Richard G. Dietz Sr., 83, passed away Tuesday, October 5, 2004, at his home.
Mr. Dietz was born in Kenosha, Wisconsin, January 17, 1921. Mr. Dietz was a dedicated, baptized Jehovah’s Witness for 54 years. He shared his bible-based hope of a paradise earth filled with healthy, happy servants of Jehovah God, to many in the Odessa area.
A memorial service will be conducted Saturday, October 9, at 3 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses on 11th Street and West Loop 338. Jerry Rogers will be officiating.
Mr. Dietz is survived by his two sons, Richard Dietz Jr. and Charles Dietz, along with their wives, Polly and Kim. Also four grandchildren, Jessica, Alex, Edee and Josiah.
Georgia Frances Hodgson
ODESSA — Georgia Frances Hodgson, 94, went to be with her heavenly father on Thursday, October 7, 2004. She passed away at Manor Park in Midland. She was born June 15, 1910, in Jacksboro, TX. She lived most of her life in Odessa, TX., and Midland, TX. She was married
many years to Henry Boyd Hodgson.
She was preceded in death by him; also a wonderful daughter, Vanda Dennie Truelove of Midland; and two very special grandchildren, Tracy Henson and Lonnie Truelove.
She is survived by her sister, Hazel Matney of Denver City; and one daughter, Lee Henson of Midland; and grandchildren, Alina Henson Brown of Midland, Delbert “Ronnie” Beadle of Tyler, Roy Wayne Beadle of Midland, Randy Henson of Midland, Ricky Dancy of Mississippi, Larry Henson of Brownfield, Bill Theobald of Midland and Vicky Pipes of Midland; three very special friends of Odessa, Elva Blackmon, Sue Benefield and Mrs. Holly; and several great-grandchildren.
Georgia will be greatly missed. She is loved by all of her friends and family. We love you Grandma.
Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, October 11, 2004, at Sunset Memorial Gardens.

Belinda Quenon
ODESSA — Belinda Faye Cruger Quenon passed away October 5, 2004. She was born April 5, 1954, in California.
She is survived by her husband of 21 years, Max E. Quenon of League City, TX.; sons, Michael Cook and J’Max Sterling Quenon, both of Grand Junction, Colo.; mother, Virginia Cruger of Odessa, TX.; brother, Bobby Cruger of Amarillo, TX.; grandchildren, Shawn, Andrea and Jacob Cook, all of Grand Junction, Colo.; and many other loving relatives and friends.
A memorial service will be held Sunday, October 10, 2004, at 2 p.m. at Sunset cemetery in Odessa, TX.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial program will be established in her name called “Little Dolls for Little Girls” at Peoples National Bank 1-866-395-8648.
Herbert F. Rule
Herbert F. Rule was born July 16, 1912, in Crystal City, TX., and passed away October 6, 2004, in Glenn Heights, TX. Herbert served his country as an Airforce Pilot in WWII, graduated from Texas Tech and retired as owner and manager of United Concrete Pipe Company.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Bertie Love Andrews; father, Frank Alexander Rule; and his first wife, Mildred Rule.
He is survived by his wife, Ruby Rule; daughters, Barbara Swafford and husband, Charles, and Jeanenan Gendron.
William ‘Bill’ John Mueller Jr.
ODESSA — William “Bill” John Mueller Jr., 73, loving husband, father and grandfather, died Saturday, July 24, 2004, in Odessa.
Bill was born December 24, 1930, in Valley Park, Mo., to William J. and Theresa M. Mueller. He married
Ethel Irene Keller of St. Louis, Mo., on June 14, 1952. He graduated from Washington University. He and his family moved to Odessa in January 1965. He has been a faithful member of St Mary’s Catholic Church. He retired from Phillips Petroleum Company in April 1992 with 39 years of service as a Principal Reservoir Engineer.
The well-being of his family was always Bill’s top priority. His light-hearted outlook on life brought many a smile to those who had the pleasure of knowing him.
His wife and his parents preceded Bill in death. Bill is survived by his daughter, Teresa McManigle-Jones and husband, Gregory K.M. Jones, of Rodbourne, England; sons, Kenneth J. Mueller of Fort Worth and Wayne S. Mueller and wife, Kathleen Gilchrist Mueller, of San Antonio; grandsons, Robert E. Mueller and wife, Jill M. Mueller, of Allen and Eric L. Mueller of Denton; granddaughters, Elizabeth K. Mueller and Claire J. Mueller of San Antonio; sister, Marilyn T. Bridge and husband, John J. Bridge, of Morton, Ill.; brother, Richard P. Mueller of St. Louis, Mo.; and sister, Eleanor M. Epperson and husband, Harold J. Epperson, of Valley Park, Mo.
The rosary will be prayed at 7 p.m. Tuesday, July 27, 2004, at Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors Chapel. Funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 28, 2004, at St Mary’s Catholic Church with the Rev. Francis Frey, celebrant. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors.

Sandi Stone
ODESSA — Sandi Stone, 53, of Odessa, passed away Saturday, July 24, 2004, at Midland Memorial Hospital. She was born January 25, 1951, in El Paso, Texas, to Robert C. and Rose Cannefax.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. July 27, 2004, at Temple Baptist Church with the Rev. Donald Bugg officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
She married
Verlon Stone on Oct. 15, 1971, in Odessa. She worked for E.C.I.S.D. transportation for 25 years as a driver specialist. She dedicated herself to her job and family. She enjoyed fishing, camping and gardening. Sandi was a wonderful daughter, sister, wife, mom and MeMe. The most important things in her life were her grandchildren who brought such joy into her life. Sandi was diagnosed with cancer in 2001 and has had very trying times with auto-immune illness. She was a strong person who held on as long as she could. She was taken to heaven to be with her husband and is now at peace.
Her husband, Verlon Stone, preceded her in death. She is survived by her parents, Bob and Rose Cannefax of Borger; daughter, Kelbi Kerby of San Antonio; son, Ryan Stone of Odessa; sisters, Karen Cannefax of Borger and Jill Griswold of Snyder; and a brother, Craig Cannefax of Borger. She had four precious grandchildren who thought the world of their MeMe. She will be greatly missed by all.

Rex Lee Colwell
LA VERNE, Calif. — Rex Lee Colwell, 77, of La Verne, Calif., died Sunday, Sept. 19, 2004, at San Dimas Comm. Hospital.
He was born April 5, 1927, in Stanton, Texas. He was a Methodist and served in the Air Force.
Survivors include his wife, Ruby L. Colwell of La Verne; daughter, Carolyn Enriquez of La Verne; sister, Betty Weatherby of Calif.; and two grandchildren.
Yves Dechatillon
ODESSA — Yves Dechatillon passed Tuesday, September 21, at the Hospice House in Odessa. He was 91.
He was born in France on September 18, 1913. He became a U.S. citizen in the early 1930s and had his name changed to Benjamin Hardy but decided to go back to his given name in later years.
He lived an exciting life, working in various professions. He was in nursing in Philadelphia, and in California he worked at several different aircraft plants. After a chance meeting at an airport in El Paso, Yves decided to come to Odessa to retire. He quickly became a part of the Trower Family and happily lived out the last six years of his life with them.
His parents, seven sisters, three brothers and his wife preceded him in death.
He is survived by his only child, Robert Hardy of California, and his very special friends, Joyce and Virgil Trower.

William ‘Harold’ Richardson
ODESSA — William “Harold” Richardson, 71, passed away September 21, 2004, at his home. He was born April 26, 1933, in Gunsight, Stephens County, Texas, to Sudie Lee and Austin Richardson. He married
Janice Hawkins on August 23, 1969, in Remlap, Alabama. He was a mason for 38 years and an endowed member and Past Master of Andy G. Vaughn Lodge #1421. He was also a 29-year member of Sam J. Helm Chapter 445, Sam J. Helm Council 363, Odessa Commandery 110 and El Paso Scottish Rite. He was a member of the Odessa Scottish Rite Association, Tranquility Lodge #2000 and Friendship Chapter #1008, Order of the Eastern Star. He was a member of Dunn Street Baptist Church. He is also a retired truck driver from Vulcan Chemicals.
He is preceded in death by his parents, aunt and uncle, Mattie and Al Smith, and uncle, Jack Richardson.
He is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Janice Richardson of Odessa; son, James Richardson and his wife, Melissa, of Odessa; daughters, Jo Ann Richardson of Taylors, South Carolina, Shearon Lenderman and husband, Mike, and Cindy Johnson and husband, Randy, all of Spartanburg, South Carolina; sisters, Emma Dudney and husband, Lynn, of Odessa and Joyce Pledger and husband, Chris, of Ben Wheeler, Texas; five grandchildren, Joshua and Brianna Richardson, Audrey Williams, Corbin and Rachel Johnson; and a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, September 23, 2004, at Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors.
Funeral Services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, September 24, 2004, at Dunn Street Baptist Church in Odessa with Pastor Carl Anderson officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Odessa with Masonic services.
