Sally Ott Carrell
ODESSA — Tuesday morning August 10, our family’s cornerstone was escorted to the King’s Throne by the angels. Sally left behind many legacies to her dear ones. From her we’ve learned not only physical strength and perseverance, but strength and perseverance of character as well.
Most important to Sally was that she teach her grandchildren to pray and rely on the Lord for strength. She taught us all that “to be absent from the body was to be present with the Lord.”
Sally wanted no one to grieve at her passing. She would be “dancing with her brother,” and singing praises to the Lord.” One day our family circle will be unbroken as we all join the King.
Sally was preceded in death by her parents, Dorothy and Kenneth Ott, brother Kenneth Michael Ott and one unborn child.
Her survivors include her daughter Misty, granddaughters Sadie and Samantha, sister Patricia Kelly, brother Johnnie Von Ott numerous nieces and nephews Kimberly and Terry McCrury sons Christopher and Matthew, Joe and Debra Kelly sons Ryan and Theron, K.C. Sally held a special place in her heart for her loving nurses at Medical Center Hospital and Naidu Clinic.
