MONAHANS - Mary Beth Ramsey, 77, of Mineral Wells, a fifth-grade teacher in Monahans, died Friday, Dec. 31, 2004 in a Mineral Wells nursing home.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. today at Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Chapel. A service is scheduled at 2 p.m. Tuesday at First United Methodist Church in Monahans and burial in Monahans Memorial cemetery. Arrangements are by Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Funeral Home (Mineral Wells) and Family Funeral Services/Jackie Harkey (Monahans arrangements).
She was born in Temple. She taught fifth grade in Monahans for 15 years and moved to Mineral Wells in 2001. She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Monahans.

ODESSA - Eda Mae Sheperd, 73, of Odessa, a retired motel employee, died Thursday, Dec. 30, 2004, at Home Hospice in Odessa.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Sunset Heights Baptist Church with the Rev. Jess Little officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are by Sunset Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home.
