CARLSBAD, N.M. -- Bobby Bailey, 16, of Carlsbad, N.M., a sophomore at Carlsbad High School, died Thursday, March 26, 1998, at University Hospital in Lubbock from injuries sustained in a car accident.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at First Assembly of God with the Revs. John Burke, Fred Connell and James McCormick officiating. Burial will be at Carlsbad cemetery. Arrangements by Denton-Funchess Funeral Home.
He was born in Carlsbad, N.M., and moved to Flagstaff, Ariz., before returning to Carlsbad in 1991. He was a member of Grace Outreach Church.

He was born in Richland and moved to Abilene in 1985 from Alaska. He was a Navy veteran of World War II and Baptist.

He was born in Acuna, Coahuila, Mexico, and had been a resident of Sheffield for more than 73 years. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He was Catholic.
