ODESSA - Ada Mae Chandler, 88, of Odessa, a beauty shop and beauty supply storeowner, died Friday, January 28, 2005, at an Odessa nursing home.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. today at Asbury United Methodist Church with the Rev. Paul Bauernfeind officiating. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
She was born in McGregor. She was Methodist.
SURVIVORS Daughter, June Hoover of Odessa; four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Armilo ‘Milo’ Leyva Zepeda
ODESSA - Armilo “Milo” Leyva Zepeda, 57, of Odessa, an oilfield roustabout, died Saturday, January 29, 2005, at Hospice House.
Mass will be said at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church with the Rev. Joseph Uecker officiating. Burial will be at Rosehill cemetery. Arrangements are by Odessa Funeral Home.
He was born in El Divisadero, Chihuahua, Mexico. He was Catholic.

Zepeda of El Divisadero; brothers, Adolfo Zepeda and Arturo Zepeda, both of El Divisadero, Abelardo Zepeda of Odessa and Manuel Zepeda of Dallas; sisters, Alicia Z. Valenzuela of Artesia, N.M., and Irma Z. Marquez of Rowlett; and three grandchildren.

Mass will be said at 2 p.m. Tuesday at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church with the Rev. Hector Madrigal officiating. Burial will be at Brownfield cemetery. Arrangements are by Mark A. Jones Funeral Directors of Brownfield.

CRANE - Jack Newland, 85, of Crane, a retired Gulf Oil Co. well tester, died Sunday, January 30, 2005, at Crane Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at First Baptist Church with the Rev. Bryans Fitzhugh officiating. Burial will be at Crane County cemetery. Arrangements are by Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Home.

KERMIT - Margaret Warren Scudder, 68, of Kermit, a homemaker, died Tuesday, January 25, 2005, in Kermit.
Funeral services were held January 28 at Belvue Baptist Church of Kermit with the Rev. Bill Campbell officiating. Burial was at Kermit cemetery. Arrangements were by Family Services Funeral Parlor of Kermit.
She was born in Putnam. She was Baptist.
