Fort Stockton - Betty L. Howell, 72, of Fort Stockton, a history teacher for the Fort Stockton Independent School District, died Friday, July 31, 2005, in Gallup, N.M.
Rosary will be at 7 p.m. today at Fort Stockton Funeral Home Chapel. Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Agnes Catholic Church with the Rev. Floro Hinacay officiating. Burial will be at East Hill cemetery.
She was born in Chicago, Ill. She was Catholic.
Survivors Son, Charles “Buzz” Howell of Fort Stockton; daughter, Shari Armstrong of Midland; brother, Louis G. Kaufman Jr. of Brooklyn, N.Y.; and five grandchildren.

Ann Levell Cargill (Davis) McGuire
Alpine - Ann Levell Cargill (Davis) McGuire, 65, of Alpine, a retired Sul Ross State University employee, died Tuesday, Aug. 2, 2005, at her residence.
Services will be at 6 p.m. Sept. 3 at the American Legion Hall.
She was born in Rochester.
Survivors Husband, Douglas Allen McGuire of Alpine; sons, Mickey Douglas McGuire of Little Rock, Ark., and Bradford Rhea McGuire of Alpine; sister, Wanda Gayle Powers of Pampa; 10 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Mack Chastine Morris Jr.
Midland - Mack Chastine Morris Jr., 79, of Midland, a former Amoco Production Co. employee, died Monday, Aug. 1, 2005, in Midland.
Services will be at 11 a.m. today at Alamo Heights Baptist Church with the Revs. Gary Redwine and Bob Porterfield officiating. Burial will be in Lovington, N.M. Arrangements are by Ellis Funeral Home.
He was born in Lamesa. He was a member of Alamo Heights Baptist Church and a Navy veteran.
Survivors Wife, Josephine Morris; sons, Tom Morris, Mack Morris and Paul Morris; daughter, Dian Morris; sister, Marie Pruett of Lovington, N.M.; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Sarah Gene Morris
Denver City - Sarah Gene Morris, 61, of Denver City, a coach and a pink lady for Yoakum County Hospital, died Monday, Aug. 1, 2005, at University Medical Center in Lubbock.
Services will be at 10 a.m. today at Denver City Church of Christ with Skip Rodgers officiating. Burial will be at Denver City Memorial Park. Arrangements are by Boyer Funeral Chapel.
She was born in San Saba. She was a member of the Denver City Church of Christ.
Survivors Son, Phillip Ray Morris of Oak Grove, La.; daughter, Lana Kay Morris of Denver City; mother, Vada Moray Clark of Denver City; brothers, Prentis B. Sturdivant of Hobbs, N.M., John D. Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at First Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Dr. Jim Miles. Arrangements are by Fort Stockton Funeral Home.
She was born in Vernon. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church.

Las Varas, Mexico - Dolores Perez, 84, of Las Varas, Chihuahua, Mexico, died July 23, 2005, in Las Varas, Mexico.
Services were held July 24 in Las Varas. Burial was at Las Varas.
Survivors Sons, Pedro Rascon, Eduardo Rascon, Alonzo Rascon and Sylviano Rascon; daughters, Josefina Rascon and Maria Elena Rascon; and many grandchildren.

Ira Vernon Alldredge
Barstow - Ira Vernon Alldredge, 82, of Barstow, a retired test driver, died Friday, May 6, 2005, in Odessa.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. at Barstow cemetery with Ramon and Karen Hornberger officiating.
He was born in Brady. He was an Air Force veteran.
Survivors Daughters, Helen Raber and GeorgiaAnn Collvins; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Doris Washington Evans
Odessa - Doris Washington Evans, 52, of Odessa, a homemaker, died Thursday, May 5, 2005, at her residence.
Services will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday May 11, 2005, at Odessa Funeral Home with the Rev. Love Hambrick officiating. Burial will be at Rose Hill cemetery. Services are by Odessa Funeral Home.
She was born in Camden, Ark. She was a Christian and a member of Greater Love Apostolic Ministry.
Survivors Husband, James ‘Daddy James’ Albert Evans of Odessa; Mother, Ruth Yarbrough of Odessa; sons, Austin ‘Peter’ Dan Robinson and Lee ‘Homer’ Loil Goodman Jr., both of Odessa; brother, Jimmy ‘Bubba’ Allen Washington of Odessa; sisters, Mary Jones, Ella Hambrick and Climmie Draughn, all of Odessa; and three grandchildren.

She was born in Seminole. She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church.

ODESSA — John Bergen, 41, of Seminole, a truck driver, died Friday, Dec. 3, 1999, at Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Reinlander Mennonite Church with John Peters officiating. Burial will be at Gaines County cemetery. Arrangements by Boyer Funeral Home.
He was born in Mexico and moved to Seminole in 1980 from Mexico. He was a member of Reinlander Mennonite Church.

He was born in Mexico. He was Catholic.
SURVIVORS: Sons, Armando Chaparro and Pete Chaparro, both of California, Vicente Razos of Odessa and Lupe Razos of Seminole; daughter, Janie Factor, of Seminole; sister, Lutria Chaparro of Odessa; nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

GRANDFALLS — Irene Grove, 93, of Monahans, a homemaker, died Saturday, Dec. 4, 1999, at Monahans Senior Health Center.

She was born in Cooper.

Victor Martinez III
ANDREWS — Victor Martinez III, 7 days old, son of Victor Jr. and Karla Martinez, of Andrews, died Friday, Dec. 3, 1999, at Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock.
Graveside services were Monday at Andrews North Babyland cemetery. Arrangements were by McNett Funeral Home.
He was born in Lubbock.
