Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Rienlander Mennonite Church with Henry Riemer officiating. Burial will be at Gaines County cemetery. Arrangements are by Boyer Funeral Home.
She was born in Mexico.
Survivors Husband, Gerhard Loeppky of Seminole; sons, John Loeppky of Canada and Gerhard Loeppky of Farewell; daughters, Margaret Enns of Seminole, Maria Friesen of Muleshoe, Katherina Neudorf of Mexico and Anna Zacherias of Muleshoe; brothers, John Klassen, Heinrich Klassen, Jacob Klassen and Abraham Klassen, all of Mexico, Peter Klassen of Bolivia and Cornelius Klassen of Canada; sisters, Katherina Welier and Susana Petkau, both of Bolivia, and Maria Giesbrecht of Mexico; 24 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Marfa - Sofia Nunez, 91, of Marfa, died Thursday, June 16, 2005, in an Odessa hospital.
Rosary will be said at 7 p.m. Sunday at Memorial Funeral Home. Mass will be celebrated at 2 p.m. Monday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church with the Rev. Mike Alcuino officiating.
She was born in Ruidosa, Texas. She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church.
Survivors Brothers, Ricardo Nunez of California and Eduardo Nunez of Marfa.

John Henry Samuels
Monahans - John Henry Samuels, 56, of Monahans, a truck driver, died Thursday, June 16, 2005, in Abilene.
Services will be at 3:30 p.m. today at Shiloh Baptist Church with the Rev. Jeppie Wilson officiating. Burial will be at Monahans Memorial cemetery. Arrangements are by Family Funeral Services/Jackie Harkey.
He was born in Madisonville. He was an Army veteran.
Survivors Sons, John Henry Samuels Jr. and Xavier V. Samuels, both of Oklahoma City; daughters, Livy D. Samuels of Vian, Okla., LaWana Dingle of Kermit, Brandi Samuels of Houston, and Kenisha Walker of Monahans; brother, Carroll Samuels of Monahans; sisters, Dorothy Bailey of Abilene and Elvin Pearl Haynes of Texas City; and 11 grandchildren.

Odessa - Paul Edward Thomas, 69, of Odessa, died Wednesday, June 15, 2005, at Hospice House.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Sunset Memorial Funeral Chapel with Jimmy Hull officiating.
He was born in Baltimore.
Survivors Wife, Barbara Thomas; sons, Paul Thomas of Odessa and Patrick Thomas of Austin; and four grandchildren.

ODESSA - Edythe L. Adams, 85, of Odessa, owner of Adam’s Photography Studio, died Saturday, June 11, 2005, at Conroe Regional Medical Center in Conroe.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
She was born in Midland. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Odessa.

DENVER CITY - David Lynn Baxter, 57, of Denver City, an oilfield truck driver, died Thursday, June 9, 2005, at University Medical Center in Lubbock.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Trinity Baptist Church with the Rev. Jim Auld officiating. Burial will follow at the Denver City Memorial Park cemetery. Arrangements are by Boyer Funeral Chapel.
He was born in Seminole and was a lifelong resident of Denver City. He was a member of the First Baptist Church.
SURVIVORS Son, Ray Felon of Denver City; daughters, Ruby Jancie Baxter of Whitney and Connie Felon of Big Spring; sisters, Geraldine Harper and Doris Snead, both of Denver City; and 10 grandchildren.

PECOS - Ramon Ornelas, 55, of Pecos, a Pecos police officer, died Friday, June 10, 2005, at Medical Center Hospital in Odessa.
A rosary will be said at 7 p.m. today at Pecos Funeral Chapel. Mass will be celebrated at 2 p.m. Monday at Santa Rosa Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Mt. Evergreen cemetery.
He was born in Monahans and was a lifelong resident of Pecos. He was Catholic. He was a U.S. Army veteran.

ODESSA - Rodolfo “Rudy” Abila Jr., 14, of Odessa, a Crockett Junior High School student, died Friday, May 27, 2005, at Medical Center Hospital.
Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. today at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church. Burial will be at Rose Hill cemetery. Arrangements are by Odessa Funeral Home.
He was born in Odessa and was member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church. Rudy was a High Brass Lieutenant and member of the 2004-2005 All City Band. He was also a member of the Odessa Boxing Club and the Select Team of the Outlaws Baseball Club — he was their catcher.
SURVIVORS Parents, Rudy Sr. and Rita Abila of Odessa; sister, Elija Deandra Abila of Odessa; brother, Jeffery Ben Abila of Odessa; and grandparents, Epifanio “Wedo” and Felix Abila of Barstow.
