He was born in Fort Stockton. He was Catholic and a Navy veteran.

Monahans - Gregorio “Greg” Terrazas, 54, of San Antonio, a truck driver, died Tuesday, April 5, 2005, at his residence.

ARTESIA, N.M. - Kenneth Gene Brown, 77, of Artesia, N.M., a retired mechanic for Halliburton, died Thursday, March 31, 2005, at Eastern New Mexico Medical Center in Roswell, N.M.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the Hermosa Drive Church of Christ with Michael Joiner officiating. Burial will follow at Woodbine cemetery.
He was born in Rising Star. He was a 31-year resident of Artesia. He was a Merchant Marines veteran of World War II. He was a member of the Hermosa Drive Church of Christ.

Chad Edward Campbell
Odessa - Chad Edward Campbell was born September 13, 1973, in Odessa to Prinny Ham and Tommy Campbell. God rescued Chad on May 7, 2005, in Santa Barbara, Calif.
Memorial Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 18, at the Cumberland Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Jimmy Braswell officiating.
Chad attended school in Odessa and graduated from Permian High School in May 1992, where he was on the varsity tennis team. Chad had great athletic abilities and played many sports excelling in tennis. He toured the U.S.T.A. tournament circuit and achieved a state ranking, during his high school years. After graduation, Chad worked in sales for various companies until his death. His big heart and bright smile will be forever etched in our memories. His mother will always remember him as a most devoted and loving son to her. He will always and forever be a part of her. The love she had for her son knew no boundaries.
“You were a part of everything that I thought, and did, and felt. And when you were with me, I believed that anything was possible. Thank you, Chad, for the love you brought me, and taught me and thank you for the miracle of you….You are, and always will be the love of my life.”

Chad was preceded in death by his great-grandmother, Thelma “Nana” Barham of Odessa; paternal grandparents, Doris and Paul Campbell; and maternal grandmother, Rosemary Parks.
His survivors include his parents, Prinny and Doug Ham of Odessa, and Tom and Nancy Campbell of Midland; stepbrothers, Josh Ham and wife, Diane, and Justin Ham and wife, Jill, both of Midland; sister, Anna Campbell of Midland; aunts and uncles, Gina Farrell of Odessa, Les Ming of Santa Barbara, Calif., and Andy Campbell and Pat Campbell, both of Odessa; numerous cousins; his best friend, Mark Harcrow of Dallas; and his best dog-pal, “Reese.”

Robbie Bailey
EARLY - Funeral Services for Robbie Bailey, 80, of May, will be held at 2:00 pm Monday, May 16, 2005 at the Heartland Funeral Home Chapel in Early with Reverend Don Longoria officiating. Burial will follow at the Bullock cemetery in Ranger.
Robbie passed away Friday, May 13, 2005 in Abilene. She was born to Ray and Bettie Sharrock Boling January 30, 1925 in Palava, Texas where she was raised. Robbie married
Glenn Bailey August 8, 1941, in Sweetwater.
Robbie was an office manager for Wood Oil Distributing Company in Odessa for twenty years until her retirement in 1987. She has been a resident of May for 35 years and was a member of the First Baptist Church.
Robbie was preceded in death by her parents, Ray Boling and Bettie Hartman.
She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Glenn Bailey, of May; son, Gary Bailey, of Granbury; daughter, Rhea Ann Hanneman, of Abilene; sister, Anna Mae Wright, of Carlsbad, N.M.; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Dorothey L. Campbell
ODESSA - Dorothey L. Campbell, 90, of Odessa, passed away on May 11, 2005, at Seabury Nursing Center.
She was born on July 29, 1914, in Stanford, Texas, to Bert and Bessie White. She married
Oran T. Campbell on December 23, 1935, in Borger, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her husband Oran, and sister Juanita Conger. Surviving are her son, Joel Campbell, of Angleton; brother; O.C. White, of South Bend, Ind.; grandchildren, Michael Campbell and wife Michelle, of Odessa, Thad Campbell and wife Tanya, of Wildomar, Calif., Susan Welch and husband Thomas, of Odessa, and eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be today from 1 p.m. until 9 p.m. at Odessa Funeral Home. Graveside services are set for 10 a.m. Monday, May 16, 2005, at Sunset Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Terry Wright officiating.

Ernest Carrasco
Odessa - Ernest Carrasco went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, May 11, 2005.
He was born Nov. 12, 1960, in Odessa, his hometown, to Gilbert and Isabel Carrasco. Ernest was a gifted mechanic and talented car painter. He frequently enjoyed tinkering in his shop or four-wheeling with his children and grandchildren. Ernest was known for his love of family and his pride in being a “Carrasco.“ He will be missed dearly by all his family and friends for his cheerful smile, his sensitivity and his giving manner. Ernest never met a stranger and often had the ability to soothe others with his strong voice and comforting hugs.
Ernest is preceded in death by his beloved son, Isaac Carrasco; parents, Gilbert B. and Isabel Carrasco; brother, Eddie and sister, Mary-Lou.
He is survived by his wife, Marisela Carrasco; daughters, Christina and husband Nathaniel “Toopie“ Woods, Erica, Veronica and BreeAna; and son, Ernest B. Carrasco Jr. and wife, Ellie; grandchildren, Tiyanna, Nathaniel II “Bubba“ Isaac and an expecting new born; and siblings, Gilbert B. Carrasco Jr. and wife Marisela, Sally Garcia and husband, Rolando, Yolanda Cortez and husband, Lupe, Silvia Carrasco, Susan Martinez and husband, Tony, Melissa Carrasco and JoAnn Acosta and husband, Jerry. Ernest has numerous nieces and nephews that he treated as children of his own.
A Rosary will be said at 6 p.m. Sunday at Frank Wilson Funeral Home.
Mass will be celebrated at 2 p.m. Monday, May 16, at San Juan Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Rose Hill cemetery.

Marie Garrett
MIDLAND - Thelma Marie Garrett went to be with her Lord and Savior on May 14, 2005, in Midland.
She was born May 6, 1930, in Mangham, La., to Gordon and Vivian Longkabel. On January 28, 1950, she married
James O. Garrett in Natchez, Miss. Their lives together followed many paths from Louisiana to Texas.
Marie worked as a hairdresser. She later went to school to become a LVN and worked in various nursing homes and physicians offices. Her hobby was creating ceramic figures. She was a member of the Eastern Star and Alamo Heights Baptist Church.
Marie was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers.
She is survived by her husband James O. Garrett, of Midland; one son, James Garrett, of Midland; one daughter, Dianne Willeford and husband Richard, of Mineola; three grandchildren, Judd Garrett and wife Noel, of Ft. Worth, Bill Neal, of Kermit, and Sandy Bingham, of California; one great-grandchild; and her sister, Anita Tempalski.
Marie’s sparkling and mischievous blue eyes and her kind and loving spirit will be missed by all that knew her.
Marie’s family would like to give their heartfelt thanks to the staff at Trinity Haven Nursing Home, and the fourth floor Medical, third floor Surgical and the Emergency Department at Midland Memorial Hospital. She was born Aug. 24, 2002, in Odessa to Ruben Reyes and Viviana Young Lopez.
She was preceded in death by her great-grandfather Jose Enrique C. Young and great-grandmother Mrs. Reyes. She is survived by her father, Ruben Reyes, of Ciudad Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico; mother, Viviana Young Lopez, of Odessa; guardians, Marcial and Pilar Lopez, of Balmorhea; brother, Pedro Benito Young Acosta Jr., of Odessa; sister, Jasmine Marie Young, of Kermit; grandparents, Arturo and Maria Santiasteban, of Odessa; great-grandmother, Eulogia C. Young, of Odessa; several aunts, uncles, cousins and lots of friends.
