McCAMEY -- Lugean Carr, 76, of Mccamey died Thursday, June 11, 1998, at Memorial Hospital in Midland.

Services are pending with Richard W. Box Funeral Home.

Victor Griffin

ODESSA -- Victor Dale Griffin, 79, of Odessa, died Thursday, June 11, 1998, at his residence.

Services are pending with Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.

Faustino Fierro

ODESSA -- Faustino Fierro, 50, of Odessa, a backhoe operator for MECO, died Tuesday, June 9, 1998, at Odessa Regional Hospital.

Services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at Martinez Funeral Home with the Rev. Dick Brown officiating. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens.

He was born in Marathon and had lived in Odessa for 14 years. He was Catholic.

Survivors: Sons, Faustino Fierro Jr. of Oklahoma, Derrick Fierro and Eric Fierro, both of Abilene; step-son, Andrew Salinas of Mesquite; daugther, Alma Yvette Munoz of Hosuton; step-daughter, Lisa Lopez of Amarillo; brothers, Mike Fierro, Manuel Fierro and Gabriel Fierro Sr., all of Odessa; sisters, Maria Elena Dominguez of Fort Stockton, Cornelia Astran of Arlington, Lupe Garcia of Odessa, Margarita Bersosa of Kermit, Anita Acosta of Fort Stockton; and three grandchildren.

Francisco Nunez

PECOS -- Francisco Nunez of Pecos, 81, of Pecos died Tuesday, June 9, 1998, at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Big Spring.

Mass will be celebrated 10 a.m. Friday at Santa Rose Catholic Church with the Rev. Antonio Mena officiating. Burial will be at Mount Evergreen cemetery. Arrangements by Pecos Funeral Home.

He was born in Redford and was a lifelong resident of Pecos. He was an Army veteran. He was Catholic.

Survivors: Wife, Nora Nunez of Pecos; sons, Cris Nunez and Joe Nunez, both of Midland; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Celestine Porter

MARFA -- Celestine Porter, 101, of Del Rio died Tuesday, June 9, 1998, in Del Rio.

Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at Marfa cemetery with the Rev. David Henry officiating. Arrangements by G.W. Cox Funeral Home.

She was born in Amphion.

Survivors: Daughters, Emogene Chancey of Odessa; sister, Margaret Matlock of Del Rio; three grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and 14 great-great-grandchildren.

Velma Raughton

STAMFORD -- Velma Raughton, 81, of Odessa, a homemaker, died Sunday, June 7, 1998, at Medical Center Hospital.

Graveside services were held Tuesday, June 10, 1998, at Rockdale cemetery. Arrangements by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.

She was born in Coleman, Okla., and moved to Odessa in 1975 from San Antonio. She was a Baptist.

Survivors: Sons, Rex Raughton of Chandler, Jack Raughton of San Bernadino, Calif., Tony Raughton of Fort Wayne, Ind.; daughter, Billie Woodson of Odesa; 14 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Estanilslao Cardona

ODESSA -- Estanilslao Cardona, 83, of Odessa died Monday, June 8, 1998, at Deerings Nursing Home.

Services will be held at a later date. Burial will be at Guadalupe, Distrito Bravo, Chihuahua, Mexico. Arrangements by Odessa Funeral Home Angeles Memorial Chapel.

He was born in Laguna Coahuila, Mexico.

Survivors: Wife, Hermelinda Cardona of Odessa; sons, Antonio Cardona of Fabens, Ricardo Cardona and Wense Cardona, both of Odessa, Jesus Cardona and Jorge Cardona, both of Fabens; daughters, Anastacia Ramirez of El Paso, Emma Gutierrez and Rosario Franco, both of Odessa.

CristaLee Cervantes

ODESSA -- CristaLee C. Cervantes, infant daughter of Crispin Cervantes and LeeAnn Castillo, both of Odessa, died Monday, June 9, 1998, at Medical Center Hospital.

Catholic graveside services will be said at 2 p.m. at Rose Hill Babyland cemetery with Deacon Barney Rodriguez officiating. Arrangements by Martinez Funeral Home.

She was born in Odessa.

Survivors: Parents; and grandparents, Jesus M. Rodiriguez and Maria De Jesus Rodriguez, Ismael Cervantes and Yamini Cervantes, all of Odessa.

Charles Dunseth

ODESSA -- Charles Edward Dunseth, 61, of Odessa died Sunday, June 7, 1998, at his residence.

Graveside services will be held at 9 a.m. Thursday at Rose Hill cemetery with the Rev. Jess Little officiating. Arrangements by Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors.

He was born in Dixon, Ill., and moved to Odessa in 1997 from Dallas.

Survivors: None listed.

Glen Haggard

ANDREWS -- Glen Haggard, 60, of Andrews, a retired employee of El Paso Natural Company, died Tuesday, June 9, 1998, of Andrews.

Services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at Calvary Baptist Church with the Rev. Ted Short officiating. Burial will be at Andrews Old cemetery. Arrangements by McNett Funeral Home.

He was born in Lamesa and moved to Andrews in 1971 from Kermit. He was a veteran of the National Guard.

Survivors: Wife, C.J. Haggard of Andrews; daughter, Briana Haggard of Odessa; sons, Brian Haggard of Snyder and Jay Haggard of Lubbock; mother, Ola Mae Maxwell of Stanton; brother, R.E. Haggard of San Angelo; sister, Weladean Dickenson of Stanton; and two grandchildren.

Millie Miller

ANDREWS -- Millie Miller, 75, of Andrews died Tuesday, June 8, 1998, at Medical Center Hospital.

Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. today at Andrews Old cemetery with the Rev. Bob Zap officiating. Arrangements by McNett Funeral Home.

She was born in Nocona and moved to Andrews in 1960 from Odessa. She was member of First Christian Church.

Survivors: Son, Jim Miller of Andrews; brother, Jack Henley of Nocona; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Jocelyn Brown

ODESSA -- Jocelyn D. Brown, 71, of Odessa died Tuesday, June 8, 1998, at Medical Center Hospital.
