EUNICE, N.M. -- Roy Knott, 91, of Eunice, N.M., a retired lease operator for ARCO, died Sunday, June 7, 1998, at Medical Center Hospital.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Tommy Jared officiating. Burial will be at Brunson Memorial cemetery. Arrangements by Calvary Funeral Home.
He was born in Frost and moved to Eunice, N.M., in 1994 from Odessa. He was Methodist.
Survivors: Wife, Emma Agnes "Dollie" Knott of Eunice, N.M.; daughters, Nelta Whitley and Martha Farris, both of Midland; son, LaRoy Knott of Albuquerque, N.M.; sister, Cleo Jarratt of Dallas; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

SEMINOLE -- Jane O'Neal, 70, of Seminole, a homemaker, died Monday, June 8, 1998, at Memorial Hospital.
Services will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday at the Community Chapel with the Rev. Derrell Evins officiating. Burial will be at Gaines County cemetery. Arrangements by Boyer Funeral Home.
She was born in Buffalo, N.Y., and moved to Seminole in 1988 from Dallas.
Survivors: Husband, J.E. O'Neal of Seminole; daughter, Kathy Allen of Sache; brother, Arthur Schwan Jr. of Mesa, Ariz.; and six grandchildren.

PECOS -- Gene Owens, 69, of Pecos died Sunday, June 7, 1998, at his residence.

He was born in Durant, Okla., and was a lifelong resident of Pecos.
He was Baptist.

PECOS -- Simon Patino, 58, of Pecos, an employee of the Health and Sanitation Department, died Saturday, June 6, 1998, at Memorial Hospital in Midland.
Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Catherine's Catholic Church. Burial will be at Toyah cemetery. Arrangements by Martinez Funeral Home.
He was born in Pecos and was a lifelong resident.
He was Catholic.

She was born in Colorado City and was a resident of Wink for four years.

HASKELL -- Ethel Sego, 92, of Haskell, a homemaker, died Saturday June 6, 1998, at Haskell Memorial Hospital.

She was born in Camel and was a longtime Haskell resident.
She was Baptist.

MIDLAND -- Goldie Mae Umfress, 71, of Midland, a retired employee of Dairy Queen, died Saturday, June 6, 1998, at a local hospital.

She was born in Oklahoma and had lived in Midland for 30 years.
