ODESSA - Henry Edward Ehrenberg Jr., 69, of Odessa, died Friday, Jan. 28, 2005, at Hospice House.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Elmwood cemetery in Abilene with the Rev. Paul Thompson officiating. Arrangements are by Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors.
He was born in Shreveport, La.
SURVIVORS Wife, Lou Ann Ehrenberg of Odessa; daughters, Linda Johnson, Laura Mitchell and Dora McGinnis, all of Odessa; and five grandchildren.

Lee Donald Brown
Monahans - Lee Donald Brown, 69, of Monahans, a truck driver, died Thursday, Jan. 27, 2005, in Odessa.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the Southside Baptist Church with the Rev. Craig Rhoten officiating.
He was born in McCamey.
Survivors Wife, Joycilyn Brown of Monahans; son, Jerry Donald Brown of Mesquite; daughters, Donna Murphy of Seagoville, Kimberly Payne of Springdale, Ark., and Vanessa McCaffrey-McCusker of Okemus, Mich.; brothers, Lloyd Wayne Brown of Chicago and Harvey Brown of Seguin; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Margaret Ann Hill
Seagraves - Margaret Ann Hill, 71, of Seminole, a retired Gaines County Tax Assessor, died Thursday, Jan. 27, 2005, in Lubbock.
Graveside service will be at 2 p.m. today at the Gaines County cemetery with the Rev. Mike Dukes Officiating. Arrangements are by Boyer Funeral Home.
She was born in Gaines County. She was a member of the Day Spring Church.
Survivors Sons, David Hill of Portland, Ore., and Jim Hill of Lubbock; brothers, Floyd Mock of Seminole and Jack Mock of Denver City; sisters, Mary Eunice Dobbs of Columbus, Neb., and Mozelle Dukes of Lubbock; and seven grandchildren.

Allan Lovins
Odessa - Allan Lovins, 33, of Odessa, died Thursday, Jan. 27, 2005, at the Hospice House.
Graveside services will be at 9 a.m. Monday at the Ector County cemetery. Arrangements are by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
Survivors Wife, Yvonne Lovins of Odessa; parents, Bobby Gene and Renae Lovins of Carrollton; grandmother, Donna Eby of Phoenix, Ariz.; brother, Adam Lovins of Abilene; and sisters, June Lovins of Dallas and April Lovins of Abilene.

Charles Walter ‘Charlie’ Osborn
Toyah - Charles Walter “Charlie” Osborn, 71, of Pecos, died Monday, Jan. 24, 2005, at his residence.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. at the Toyah cemetery. Arrangements are by Peaceful Gardens Funeral Home.
He was born in Toyah. He was a Baptist.
Survivors Wife, Bessie L. Osborn of Pecos; sons, Charles Lee Osborn of Las Cruces, N.M., and Carl Walter Osborn of Pecos; daughters, Debra Arleen Thomas of Pecos and Patricia Gail Cahil of Hobbs, N.M.; brothers, Jack Osborn of Toyah, Dan Osborn of Huntsville and Jay Walker of Azle; 12 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.

Faustino ‘Tino’ A. Torres
Odessa - Faustino “Tino” A. Torres, 79, of Odessa, owner and operator of Aztec Welding and Fabrication, died Wednesday, Jan. 26, 2005, at Medical Center Hospital.
Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. today at St. Joseph Catholic Church with the Rev. Joseph Uecker officiating. Burial will follow at RoseHill cemetery. Arrangements are by Odessa Funeral Home.
He was born in Grandfalls. He was Catholic. He was a U.S. Army veteran.
Survivors Wife, Elfida Rico Torres of Odessa; sons, Alfredo R. Torres of San Antonio and Roberto R Torres and Joe R. Torres, both of Odessa; daughter, Gracie Nabarrette of Odessa; brother, Octavio Torres of Grand Prairie; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Robert Wade Caffrey
Odessa - Robert Wade Caffrey, 39, of Odessa, Texas, passed away Saturday, June 4, 2005, at Medical Center Hospital.
He was born February 5, 1966, in Colorado Springs, Colorado, to George M. and Roberta Caffrey. Robert grew up in Fairfax, Virginia, and in Moorefield, West Virginia. After high school graduation, he worked in Winchester, Virginia. He later attended Odessa College and the University of Texas of the Permian Basin. Robert was raised in the Reformed Christian traditions and found a spiritual home at St. John’s Episcopal Church in Odessa. He was gifted in music and in art and he shared those talents generously with others. He loved the natural world and his compassion for others was expressed graciously in caring for the elderly.
Robert is preceded in death by both paternal and maternal grandparents, James and Bertie Caffrey and Wade and Rebecca Stickley.
He is survived by his parents, George and Roberta Caffrey of Odessa; brother, George Martin Caffrey Jr. of California; sister, Deborah Romano and husband, James, of Shepherdstown, West Virginia; several aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.
Memorial Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, June 10, at St. John’s Episcopal Church with the Rev. Laura Deaderick officiating. Private interment will take place at a later date in Moorefield, West Virginia.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to St. John’s Episcopal Church Building Fund or to St. Barnabas’ Episcopal Church Carillon Fund.
Services are by Odessa Funeral Home.

Gerald Mark Kitrick Carson
CRANE - Gerald Mark Kitrick Carson died on Sunday, June 5, 2005, at the Audie Murphy Veteran’s Hospital in San Antonio.
Mark was born Jan. 5, 1948, in Brady, to Patrick V. Carson Sr. and Katherine Jennings Carson. After attending schools in Rankin, Midland and Crane, he graduated from Van Horn High School. Mark served two tours of duty as a Marine in Vietnam, after high school.
On returning home, he attended Texas State Technical Institute where he received his degree in underwater welding. Mark continued his education throughout his life taking classes and later earning an additional degree in computer drafting.
Kit, as his friends knew him, worked in the mining, construction and demolition fields in Arizona and Nevada. Mark retired from Las Vegas and moved to Fort Davis, where he was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.
He had a wide range of interests and hobbies including: reading, art and nature. He was a generous, friendly man who was always ready to help someone in need.
Mark was preceded in death by his father, Patrick V. Carson Sr.
Survivors include his mother, Katherine J. Carson of Crane; his daughter, Lisa Murphy and husband, Mark of Mission Viejo, Calif.; two granddaughters, Jordan and Casey Murphy, both of Mission Viejo, Calif.; brothers, Vance Carson and wife, Lonia, Carson of Carlsbad, N.M., and Leslie Carson of Odessa; a sister, Julia Roberson and husband, Larry, of Carlsbad, N.M.; and many nieces and nephews with whom he spent many happy hours.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, June 10, at the Good Shepherd Catholic Church with the Father Nilo Nalugon officiating.
Honorary pallbearers will be: Bridget Pollock, Robert Hefner, Larry Roberson, Lonia Carson, Mark Murphy, the Nichols Family and his nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to the Maryknoll Sisters, P.O. Box 301, Maryknoll, NY, 10545-0301
Services are under the direction of Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Home of Crane.

Mary Ann Galloway
Odessa - On Sunday, June 5, 2005, Mary Ann Galloway went home to be with her lord.
She left behind, for a short time, her husband of 31 years, Roy A. Galloway Jr.; her three daughters and their husbands, James and Joanna White of Fort Knox, Ken., and James and Dianna Higgs III and Ben and Jessica Sanchez Jr., all of Odessa; her five granddaughters and two grandsons, Cheyenne and Samantha White, J’anna, James and Kierra Higgs and Daisy and William Sanchez, who called her O’ma; her parents, Eldon Duane Leverton and Buelah Ethel Medlin Leverton of Odessa; a sister, Sherrie Lynn Trammell; and two brothers, Richard Owen and Michael William Leverton, all of Odessa. As well as, seventeen nieces and nephews
In addition to being an ordained minister, she had many God given talents. Her artistic ability led her to a bachelors degree in art. Mary Ann’s love for people led her to teach. She was involved with and trained horses her whole life, but above all, she blessed all those who knew her as a wonderful friend. We shall greatly miss our loving and devoted wife and mom, who for 49 years blessed this world with the gift of love given by the grace of God. This love she installed in her children will continue for all time.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday, June 10, at Caprock Baptist Church, 1311 F.M. 1787, in Odessa with the Rev. Dewey Blevins and Pastor Bob Thayer officiating.

Nancy Kathleen Terry Grumbles
San Saba - Nancy Kathleen Terry Grumbles, 80, passed away Monday, June 6, 2005, at Deering Nursing Center in Odessa.
She was born May 9, 1925, in San Saba to Douglas and Ethel Terry. She was a homemaker, a Baptist, and taught art to a group of Senior Citizens.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers; Clayton and Billy Terry; sister, Wincie Terry Bailey;
step-granddaughter, Amy Grumbles.
She is survived by her son, C.L. Grumbles Jr. of Odessa; daughters, Nancy Sanders Penny of Longview, and Mary Sanders Row of Odessa; stepdaughter, Betty Grumbles Mosley of Channelview; sister, Rosemary Terry Roberds of Brady; six grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; three step-grandchildren and four step-great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the Terry cemetery in San Saba.
Services are by Odessa Funeral Home.

Ronald Wade Peacock
Odessa - Ronald Wade Peacock was born Feb. 14, 1948, in Coleman to Woodruff Milton Peacock and Margaret Ellen McIntire. He went home to be with the Lord June 3, 2005, in Zurich, Kan.
Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, June 10, at Vine Baptist Church in Odessa with the Revs. Johnny Touchstone and Jim Kondo officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Urn Gardens.
Ron served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam conflict and was a member of the VFW. He was a gifted artist and musician, but supplemented his income as a cook and a truck driver at different times. He was receiving VA disability benefits the last several years of his life.
Ron believed that Jesus Christ was the crucified and risen Son of God and his
family is assured that he is waiting under the stairs for them now.
He was preceded in death by both his parents.
Ron is survived by daughters, Margaret Ellen Stock and husband, Craig Allan, and Pamela Joyce Peacock, both of Odessa; one granddaughter, Michelle Renee Niver; one grandson, Cade Allan Stock; brothers and sisters-in-law, Milton and Carol Peacock of Lampasas, Michael and Myrtle Peacock of Alvarado, Charles and Lanell Peacock of Kaufman, and John Earl and Betty Peacock of Odessa; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family requests that memorials be made to the VA Hospital in Big Spring.

Howard David Brown
Odessa - Howard David Brown, 69, a long time resident of Odessa, went to be with the Lord Sunday, June 5, 2005, at Medical Center Hospital.
He was born Sept. 13, 1935, in Coalgate, Okla. and moved to Odessa at an early age. Howard served in the army for two years. He was a leader of his platoon. He worked for Pacer Trucks of Odessa, a family business, and also Hooper Trucking.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert L. Brown and Anna Bell Powell; grandparents, Melton and Mary Ellen Brown; grandmother, Esther Chatman; and brother, Bill McInturf.
He is survived by his wife, Joyce L. Brown of Odessa; son, Bobby Joe Brown; and grandson, Tighe Brown; aunt, Mary Taylor; uncles, Bo and Jimmy Brown; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. today, June 8, at Sunset Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Don Caywood officiating.
Services are entrusted to Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.

Estelle J. Jackson Boone
Odessa - Estelle J. Jackson Boone, 88, a longtime resident of Odessa, passed from this life Monday, June 6, 2005, at home with the comfort of her husband, J.C. Boone; her daughter, Sharon Akers; and her Lord at her side.
Estelle was born March 30, 1917, in Cleveland, Okla. She was the third youngest child of George and Grace Jackson. Estelle became a member of First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) of Odessa in 1942 and stayed active in the church, until her small handicaps did not allow her freedom to attend. Estelle married J.C. Boone Dec. 26, 1936, in Cleveland, Okla. Estelle and J.C. immediately came to West Texas as a young bride of 19 and began her career as a housewife and later a wonderfully loving Mother and always as a friend to everyone she met.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Grace Jackson; five brothers, Harvey, Lawrence, Vernon, Norvel and G.C.; and one sister, Genevieve.
Estelle is survived by her husband of 67 years, J.C.; daughter, Sharon Akers and husband, Jim, of Fork Union, Va.; and son, John Boone and wife, Lynne, of Irving; granddaughters, Melynda Ghuneim and her husband, Nizar, of Charlotte, N.C., Marci Ferguson and her husband, Tony, of Jacksonville, Fla.; and grandson, John C. with the 4th Infantry Division in Fort Hood; two great-grandchildren, Jillian Ghuneim and Jessica Ferguson.
Estelle was a cherished wife, mother and nana to her grandchildren and will be missed by all.
Funeral services will be conducted at 3 p.m. today, June 8, at the Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. David Mindel officiating. Interment will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 11, at the Woodland cemetery in Cleveland, Okla. under direction of Chapman-Black Funeral Home..
Services are entrusted to Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.

Robert Wade Caffrey
Odessa - Robert Wade Caffrey, 39, of Odessa, Texas, passed away Saturday, June 4, 2005, at Medical Center Hospital.

Odessa - Nancy Kathleen Grumbles, 80 years of age, passed away Monday, June 6, 2005, at Deering Nursing Center in Odessa.
She was born May 9, 1925, in San Saba to Douglas
and Ethel Terry. She was a homemaker, a Baptist and taught art to a group of senior citizens.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Clayton and Billy Terry; and sister, Wincie Terry Bailey.
She is survived by her son, C.L. Grumbles Jr. of Odessa; daughters, Nancy Sanders Penny of Longview, and Mary Sanders Row of Odessa; stepdaughter, Betty Grumbles Mosley of Channelview; sister, Rosemary Terry Roberds of Brady; six grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and four step-great-grandchildren.
Family visitation will begin at 11 a.m. today, June 8, at Odessa Funeral Home and the family will greet friends from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Graveside services will be at 8 p.m. Friday, June 10, at Terry cemetery in San Saba.
Services are by Odessa Funeral Home.
