CHICKASHA, Okla. -- Beatrice E. Murray, 76, of Chickasha, Okla., a retired receptionist, died Tuesday, June 2, 1998, in Chickasha.

Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Sevier Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be at Rush Springs cemetery. Arrangements by Sevier Funeral Home. She was born in Bailey, Okla., and had lived in the Chickasha area since 1959. She was Baptist.

Survivors: Brother, Arthur Reed of Rush Springs, Okla.; and sister, Pauline Reed of Rush Springs, Okla.

Joe Neely

MIDLAND -- Joe Abb Neely, 60, of Midland, a retired employee of the Texas Department of Health, died Tuesday in a local hospital.

Services will be held at 3 p.m. Friday at the National Guard Armory, 3908 N. Lamesa Road. Funeral arrangements by Ellis Funeral Home.

He was born in El Paso and moved to Midland in 1985. He was a veteran of the Air Force.

Survivors: Sons, Joe Neely of Amarillo, Jay Frank Neely of San Angelo, Jon Geye Neely of Germany; father, Tom H. Neely of Sierra Blanca, Texas; brother, Tom D. Neely of Sierra Blanca, Texas; sister, Mary Lou Spitler of Carrollton; and six grandchildren.

Walter Northcutt

ACHILLE, Okla. -- Walter Raymond Northcutt, 68, a retired oilfield worker and welder, died Monday, June 1, 1998, in Achille, Okla., after a lengthy illness.

Services will be held at 10 a.m. today at Cunningham Funeral Chapel. Burial will be at Tushka cemetery in Tushka, Okla. Arrangements by Cunningham Funeral Home.

He was born in Terrell, Okla., and was a resident of Odessa for 23 years. He was an Army veteran. He was Baptist.

Survivors: Brother, Odell Northcutt of Bangs; daughers, Ronda DeCaire and Scherlyn Harvey, both of Achille, Okla.; five grandchildren and three step-grandchildren.

Jimmie Riordan

ANDREWS -- Jimmie Lewis Riordan, 63, a retired truck driver, died Tuesday, June 2, 1998, at his residence.

Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. today at Andrews West cemetery with John Snider officiating. Arrangements by McNett Funeral Home.

He was born in Gouldbusk and moved to Andrews in 1962.

Survivors: Daughters, Kim Crowley and Tanya Cross, both of Andrews; brothers, Milton Riordan of Lemon Cove, Calif., Weldon Riordan of Andrews, Charles Riordan of Washington, Norman Lee Riordan of Louisiana; sister, Earline Hendrix of Andrews; and four grandchildren.

Zelma Routh

RANKIN -- Zelma Routh, 64, of Rankin, a retired employee of Rankin Independent School District, died Tuesday, June 2, 1998, at Crane Memorial Hospital.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at First Baptist Church with the Revs. Jim Medley and J.C. Tankersly officiating. Burial will be at Rankin cemetery. Arrangements by Richard W. Box Funeral Homes.

She was born in Bird's Store and moved to Rankin in 1965. She was Baptist.

Survivors: Daughters, Gay Lynn Mobley of Midland, Mary Schul of Crane; son, William Lee Routh of Midland; sister, Ann Cockrell of Grand Prairie; brothers, Thurman White of Taft, Jesse White of Alabama, Wilburn White of Zepher, Troy White of Lewisville; and six grandchildren.

Victor Burton

LUBBOCK -- Victor A. Burton, 91, of Kermit, a retired road construction crewman for Winkler County died Saturday, May 30, 1998 at St. Mary Hospital in Lubbock.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. today at Cooper Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Russ Smith Sr. officiating. Burial will be at Kermit cemetery. Arrangements by Cooper Funeral Chapel Inc.

He was born in Ada, Okla., and was a 33-year resident of Kermit. He was Methodist.

Survivors: Son, Duane Burton of Lubbock; daughters, Nelda McClure Smith of Kermit, Nina Watson of Wolfforth; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

ODESSA -- E.L. Gower, 47, of Odessa died Sunday, May 31, 1998, in Odessa. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. today at Rose Hill cemetery. Arrangements by Odessa Funeral Home Angeles Memorial Chapel. He was born in Dumas.

Survivors: Wife, Linda Ryba Gower of Odessa; mother, Francis Gower of Dalhart; son, Eddie Ledbetter of Amarillo; daughters, Taysha Youso Gower and Erica Gower, both of Dalhart, and Tracey Gower, Tricia Gower and Amanda Gower, all of Los Angeles; brother, Roger Dale Gower of Dumas; sisters, Georgie Ruth Mezzell of Dalhart, Sandra Jane Moorehead of California, Patricia Ann Martinez, Janet Cookenour, Sharon Davis and Joyce Ortiz, all of Dalhart; and five grandchildren. He was born in Graford. He was Methodist.

Survivors: Wife, Ola Mae McClure of McCamey; son, Jimmy Lee McClure of McCamey; three grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Reita Martin

KERMIT -- Reita Martin, 80, of Kermit, a retired assembly worker for General Electric, died Sunday, May 31, 1998, at Kermit Health Care Center.

Memorial services will be held at 7 p.m. Saturday at First Christian Church with the Rev. Gene Brown officiating. Arrangements by Cooper Funeral Chapel Inc.

She was born in Canada and been a resident of Kermit for one year after moving from Monahans. She was a member of Trinity Christian Church.M.
Survivors: Daughter, Betty Thomas of Houston; 12 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

D.L. Fenter

ABILENE -- D.L. Fenter, 82, of Abilene, a retired self-employed accountant, died Monday at an Abilene hospital.

Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Hillcrest Church of Christ with Dwight Robarts, Norm Archibald, Bill Luttrell, Johnny Ramsey and Burt Groves officiating. Burial will be at Mount Hope cemetery in Anson. Arrangements by Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home.

He was born in Jones County and has been a resident of Abilene since 1996 after moving from Odessa. He was a Navy veteran of World War II. He was a member of the Church of Christ.

Survivors: Wife, Bettye Ruth Fenter of Abilene; daughters, Betty Sue Baker of Houston, Cathy Shipley of Allen, Lee Anna Ladyman of Abilene; and six grandchildren.

Elsie Green

ANDREWS -- Elsie Green, 68, of Andrews, a homemaker, died Friday, May 29, 1998, at Permian General Hospital.

Memorial services will be held at 5 p.m. Friday at Means Memorial United Methodist Church with the Rev. Jim Terry officiating. Arrangements by McNett Funeral Home.

She was born in Gulnare, Colo., and moved to Andrews in 1990 from Nathrop, Colo.

ODESSA -- Adelaida Machuca, 57, of Odessa, an employee of Odessa Day Nursery, died Friday, May 29, 1998, at her residence.

Rosary was said June 1, 1998, at Odessa Funeral Home Angeles Memorial Chapel. Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. today at St. Jospeh's Catholic Church with the Rev. Luis Cepeda officiating. Burial will be at Rose Hill cemetery. Arrangements by Odessa Funeral Home Angeles Memorial Chapel.

She was born in Saragosa.
