McCAMEY - Catarino E. Rodriguez, 67, of McCamey, a retired roustabout, died Tuesday, Aug. 16, 2005, at Medical Center Hospital.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the Apostolic Church of McCamey. Burial will be at Resthaven cemetery. Arrangements are by Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Home.
He was born in LaRosita, Coahuila, Mexico, and was a member of the Apostolic Church.
Survivors Wife, Marcela Rodriguez of McCamey; sons, Catarino “Cat” Rodriguez and Bobby Rodriguez, both of Odessa and Santiago Rodriguez and David Rodriguez, both of McCamey; daughter, Rosa Aramita Tarango of San Angelo; brothers, Oscar Rodriguez and Socorro Rodriguez, both of Liberal, Kan., Pablo Rodriguez of Lubbock, Hilberto Rodriguez of Dumas and Graciano Rodriguez of McCamey; sisters, Irma Rodriguez of Dallas, Consuelo Ybarra of Midland and Juana Ybarra of McCamey; 13 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Felipe Baeza Torres
Midland - Felipe Baeza Torres, 62, of Midland, former owner and operator of Felipe’s Exxon in Kermit and retired from Hanover Compressor, died Tuesday, Aug. 16, 2005, at his residence.
Rosary will be said at 7:30 p.m. today at Pipkin Funeral Home Chapel. Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with the Rev. Ray Wilhelm officiating. Burial will be at Serenity Memorial Gardens.
He was born in Alpine.
Survivors Wife, Eliselda Torres of Midland; sons, Lewis Torres of San Antonio and Larry Torres and Felipe Torres III, both of Odessa; daughters, Rose Mary Aguilar of Marfa, Laura Torres Fierro of Odessa and Sandra Melendez of Morton; brothers, Vidal Torres and Robert Torres, both of Alpine, Patricio Torres of Littlefield and Israel Torres of Del Rio; sister, Rosa Soto of Lubbock; 14 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Willard Orville Allen
Santa Anna - Willard Orville Allen, 76, of Santa Anna, died Tuesday, Aug. 9, 2005, in Canyon Lake.
Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the First Presbyterian Church with Pat McClatchy and Gary Boyd officiating. Arrangements are by Stevens Funeral Home of Coleman.
He was born in Coleman County. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church.

Andrews - C.E. “Eddy” Fowler, 63, of Andrews, a groundskeeper for the Andrews County Courthouse, died Monday, Aug. 8, 2005, at Permian Regional Medical Center in Andrews.
Memorial services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Andrews Church of God with Jeff Welter officiating. Arrangements are by McNett Funeral Home.
He was born in Andrews. He was a Navy veteran.
Survivors Sons, Eddy Fowler Jr. and Joe Fowler, both of Andrews; daughter, Malissa K. Fowler of Corpus Christi; mother, Margie Reed of Andrews; brothers, David Fowler of Andrews and James Reed of Santa Anna; sisters, Julia Rich of San Angelo, Jane Grace of Andrews and Jackie Ann Cowling of South Dakota; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Pecos - Guadalupe “Lupe” C. Gonzales, 76, of Barstow, a homemaker, died Tuesday, Aug. 9, 2005, at Alliance Hospital.
Rosary will be said at 7 p.m. today at Pecos Funeral Home. Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday at Our Lady of Refuge with the Rev. Manuel Munoz officiating.
He was born in Barstow. He was Catholic.
Survivors Son, Ramon M. Gonzales Sr. of Odessa; daughter, Alva I. Gonzales of Barstow; sisters, Gilberta C. Garcia of Barstow, Genoveva C. Gonzales of Barstow, Mary Stone of Monahans and Rosa Rios of Monahans; and three grandchildren.

Cecil Curry Goodwin
Midland - Cecil Curry Goodwin, 74, of Midland, a retired Burlington Resources employee, died Tuesday, Aug. 9, 2005, at his residence.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Chapel with Willard Gaston officiating. Burial will be at Serenity Memorial Gardens.
He was born in Tatum, N.M. He was an Army veteran.

Frederick Norman Johnson
Odessa - Frederick Norman Johnson, 71, of Odessa, a pastor, died Monday, Aug. 8, 2005, at Home Hospice.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Greenleaf cemetery in Brownwood.
He was born in Niagara Falls, N.Y. He was an Air Force veteran.

He was born in Breckenridge. He was a member of Bible Baptist Church.

He was born in Hamilton County. He was an Army Air Corp veteran.
